Joshua's POV

FLASHBACK

Rosa grinned. "No, but it seems you are an incorrigible player. Should I be wary?" the blonde asked, amused.

"It is too late," I commented huskily and winked at her.

She chuckled, and we continued playing the game.

"The last one," I commented as we were about to finish ten of tequila which I had ordered ten minutes ago after drinking the previous ones. I had never drunk this much before.

"Fine . Never have I ever had sex," Rosa said as her cheeks turned pink.

"What? Really?" I asked, surprised.

"I didn't drink," she replied, gesturing to the glasses. "However, I think you have to drink."

I smirked, grabbing the last glass of tequila, and drank it in one sip. "Why?" I asked curiously. "You are so pretty. Men probably did everything to sweep you off your feet."

"I heard a lot of bad things from my friends about their first times. So I decided to wait till marriage because the only positive experience I heard it was one of my friend who waited till marriage. I think maybe it is different if you do it with someone you really love and trust so much to share your life... I know you think it is silly, but... Besides, I haven't met anyone special who could change my mind and made me trust them fully to go for it," Rosa replied shyly.

"I can prove you wrong," I stated confidently and leaned closer to her. "Not every first time is bad," I added huskily and ran my nose along her neck, breathing in her delicious vanilla scent, making her shiver.

The blonde princess pursed her lips together and looked at me, her cheeks red as I pulled back slightly. There were a few inches between our lips.

"No, I will wait till marriage. You can't change my mind," she winked at me.

"I am a quite persuasive," I commented seductively.

"But I think you didn't get used to rejection. So you think you can get everything you want," Rosa said arrogantly.

"Yes, I have never got rejected," I admitted arrogantly.

"But I have already rejected you," the pretty blonde said confidently and winked at me.

I chuckled in amusement and stated firmly. "Marry me."

"What?" she asked, puzzled.

"Marry me and let me give you the best experience," I replied in a serious tone.

"Are you kidding?" Rosa burst out laughing.

"No, I am dead serious. Will you marry me?" I asked, grabbing her hand.

"You don't have a ring, Mister. And you haven't even knelt on one knee while proposing," she commented playfully.

"It can be arranged." I winked at her. She grinned, shaking her head in amusement. I stood up, smiling without releasing her hand, and dragged her towards the exit with me.

"Where are you taking me?" Rosa asked curiously.

"Be patient." I winked at her. She chuckled and followed me.

"Wait here," I told Rosa as we walked into my suite. She nodded, giving me a dazzling smile.

I rushed to my bedroom and opened the drawer. I smiled happily as I took a red velvet box and opened it.

When I bought this ring, the shop assistant told me that this was a special ring and called 'Soul mates'. The design of this diamond ring featured two individual sections that come together as one -- like you and your partner, soul mates. There was a gold section and a diamond section with fifteen small diamonds on each side of the center stone.

The shop assistant informed me that every man who bought this ring was going to propose to the love of their lives, and he hoped that this ring found its real owner this time too.

I grabbed the ring and threw the box into the drawer. Then I went back to the living room.

As Rosa heard my footsteps, she stopped looking through the window and turned towards me, giving me a brilliant smile. I smiled at her back, approaching her, and knelt on one knee in front of her.

"Will you make this night unforgettable for me? Will you marry me?" I asked, extending the ring towards her.

She laughed happily and nodded. "Yes."

I grinned contentedly and put the ring on Rosa's ring finger. Then I straightened and wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her closer to me before brushing my lips against her inviting lips.

"I can't believe I got engaged to a man who I met a few hours ago," she commented, amused as she pulled back.

"You won't regret it, babe," I stated confidently.

When Rosa wanted to pull back while smiling at me, she suddenly felt dizzy. I instantly caught her and held her in my arms tightly.

"I make your head spin. I have this kind of effect on women," I commented cockily.

She chuckled. "Silly! I think I should reconsider my decision to marry you."

"It is too late, babe. Once you put on the ring, there is no turning back. This ring will stay on your finger for a lifetime, my future wifey," I stated confidently and winked at her playfully.

"If you say so." She sighed playfully, and we burst out laughing.

"Come on," I said excitedly as I pulled back and grabbed her hand.

"Where are we going now?" Rosa asked, puzzled.

"To get married. Tomorrow we will wake up as a husband and wife," I stated, determined and winked at her.

I heaved a loud sigh, turning off the water, and walked out of the shower, wrapping a towel around my waist.

When I entered the bedroom, there was no one here. I frowned, running my hand through my hair while looking around. Her clothes disappeared as well.

"Shit! Where did she go?" I said angrily and grabbed my pants to check if she stole my money or not. "Everything is here," I mumbled under my breath as I saw all my bank cards and money were in my wallet. "So she just sneaked out, but how will get divorced? Damn it! I have to find her."

I put on my pants and shirt quickly and rushed out, trying to find her; I hoped she had recently left, and I could catch her.

As I couldn't find Rosa near the hotel, I asked the hotel manager to do me a favor and let me see the CCTV footage. After taking Rosa's photo from the computer, I went to my suite.

I put my suitcase onto the bed and started packing. After throwing the marriage certificate into the suitcase in irritation without looking at it, I closed my suitcase and put it on the floor.

I pursed my lips together, looking at the bed, and sighed, running my hand through my hair. Then I pulled my phone out of my pocket and send a message to my family company's lawyer, Robert.

'Good morning, Robert. Be in my office tomorrow morning and send me your detective friend's number ASAP.'

A few minutes later, my phone buzzed.

'Good morning, Mr. Sullivan. I will, sir.'

A few seconds later, my phone buzzed again; this time he sent me the detective's number. Once I saved the contact, I put my phone into my pocket and grabbed my jacket. After looking at the bed one more time, I left the suite, pulling my suitcase behind me.

Celeste's POV

I rubbed my eyes, yawning before opening my eyes.

"Ugh! My head!" I murmured, rubbing my temples. My head was pounding.

My eyes widened in shock as I suddenly noticed that I wasn't in my hotel room. Moreover, I was freaking naked. Naked!

When I sat up on the bed in panic, I groaned in pain; all my body was aching, especially my core. I took deep breaths and spread my legs slowly, trying to decrease the pain I felt while my eyes welled up.

A drop of tear ran down my cheek when I saw my clothes and his clothes scattered on the floor. So he was still here. At least, he didn't sneak out, leaving me like a worthless whore who spread her legs for him as soon as they met. Then I noticed that the water sounds coming from the bathroom; so he was taking a shower right now.

"I have to get out of here as soon as possible. I don't want to see his face again," I mumbled under my breath and ruffled my hair. "The last night was a mistake. I shouldn't have drunk so much." I clenched my fist angrily. "That asshole! What were you waiting? You have to walk away as soon as you heard his name is Joshua. I hate all men who were named Joshua. That bastard took advantage of my state," I added as tears ran down my cheeks uncontrollably. Despite the fact I couldn't remember everything what happened last night, I didn't forget what his name was, and what a mesmerizing smile he had.

My eyes widened in shock as I remembered that I had a flight this morning. I was going to New York where I planned to find a job and start working as a lawyer.

"Shit!" I exclaimed as I looked at the alarm clock. I have just an hour to go to my hotel to get my stuff and go to the airport. Moreover, I didn't even know how far away I was from my hotel.
