Celeste's POV

I rolled my eyes. "I hate men who think about just beauty, nothing more without being interested in women's personalities," I commented in annoyance.

"I think she suits him because it is easy to be with her. A few expensive gifts and she stops complaining and makes up with him," she commented and shook her shoulder nonchalantly.

"Serves him right. I don't feel sorry when women use men, who are after just beauty, for money. You reap what you sow," I stated firmly.

"You are absolutely right." Hazel nodded.

I took a sip from my coffee while listening to Hazel. Today I was staying the night in their mansion. Her parents went on a vacation for two days, and his brother lived in his penthouse. So she was alone home.

"You are sleepy," Hazel commented in amusement as I yawned again. I was so tired. I was barely keeping my eyes open. Even drinking coffee didn't help me properly.

"Sorry, today was a hectic day in the company," I informed her. "Even coffee doesn't help."

"Does my brother tire you so much?" she asked in mischief.

I rolled her eyes. Even thinking about him made me irritated. Fortunately, I hadn't seen him yet. I hoped I didn't see his face at all.

"Fortunately, I haven't seen him yet. Does he work there? Or is he busy with partying?" I gave her a questioning look.

"No, don't worry you will see him soon. By the way, he has been angry the last few days," she replied, sighing. "So it is better if you don't see him these days," my friend added and winked at me playfully.

"I can't run away from my fate, can I?" she commented and sighed dramatically.

"Nope. Be ready to fight with my brother again," Hazel said devilishly.

"It is good to hear your horror stories, but I hold my eyes open barely. It will be better if I take a shower and go to bed," I announced and stood up.

"Sure. You know where my bedroom is. I will call Jayden and come to the room after talking to him," Hazel told me softly as she grabbed my phone and stood up. I nodded and went to her room.

I decided to take a quick shower before going to bed. After taking off my clothes, I went to the bathroom.

Once I finished taking a shower, I wrapped a towel around my body and walked out of the shower cabin. Then I set the hair dryer on medium heat and dried my hair. Later I went back to the room to put on my nightie.

As soon as I closed the bathroom door, my phone rang. I walked towards the bed to pull my phone out of my back.

"Where is it?" I frowned, rummaging my bag as I couldn't find my phone.

When I finally grabbed my phone, it stopped ringing. I wanted to pull it out of the bag to find who was calling me, but suddenly, my bag dropped down, my things scattering onto the floor.

"Damn it!" I exclaimed angrily and picked up them one by one.

I straightened quickly as someone suddenly opened the door.

"Josh...," I mumbled under my breath, looking at the man in the doorway as my eyes widened in shock.

Is it really him? Or it is just a hallucination?

I blinked a few times, but he was still here, looking at me, stunned.

"What the hell are you doin..." He didn't finish his sentence as my towel slid down my body. He gulped without taking his eyes off my body, his gaze dark in desire.

I shivered in sensation while I felt that my cheeks turned crimson red as he looked at me like he was devouring me with his gaze. I couldn't help, but remember how he made love to me in that suite in Vegas.

When he took a few steps towards me, I screamed in fear and covered my body with my hands as much as possible. My husband stopped, looking at me, dumbfounded.

A few minutes later, my friend rushed into the room worriedly.

"Call the police, Hazel," I told her in fear as I grabbed my towel quickly and wrapped it around my body.

How did he find me?

Was he following me?

And how did he get into the mansion? There were the guards everywhere protecting the property.

"Yes, call the police," my husband ordered Hazel and turned his gaze from her to me, making me shiver, this time in fright. "What are you doing here?" he asked furiously as he rested his hands on his hips walking towards me like a predator approaching its prey.

"Don't come near me!" I warned him in panic, taking a few steps backwards while holding my towel around me tightly.

"Enough, guys!" Hazel exclaimed without any trace of fear in her eyes as I stepped between us and tried to push my husband back, but he didn't move an inch without taking his eyes off me for a second. "Stop it, you are scaring her," she stated firmly, pushing him back.

Yes, I am grateful to my friend because she is protecting me, but why isn't she afraid when there is a stranger in her bedroom?

"It is just the beginning," he commented bitterly, giving me a dirty look. I gritted my teeth angrily, looking him in the eyes. "And why are you acting like that? This girl sneaked into your room," he snapped at my friend and shook his head in disbelief.

Me?

It was you who sneaked into the room, bastard.

"It is you who barged into the room while I was half-naked," I stated in frustration as I approached him. He was getting on my nerves.

My so-called husband gave me a cocky smirk and roamed my body from head to toe with lustful eyes. "Really? Then why did you give me a quite show? Did you really think I would believe that your towel slid down by accident? What were you planning? Did you mistake the rooms? My room is upstairs," he commented arrogantly.

"How dare you!" I exclaimed, furious and wanted to slap him, but he grabbed my wrist, stopping me.

"Don't dare to repeat it! Otherwise..."

"Stop it, Joshua!" Hazel warned him angrily and tried to release my wrist from this caveman's grip.

"What? Is... he your brother?" I asked my friend in shock and looked at my husband, my mouth agape.

Did I understand right?

Are her brother, Joshua, and my husband, Joshua, the same person?

No, it must be a nightmare. I can't be married to freaking Joshua Sullivan. The man who I have hated since my childhood.

How can it be possible?!

I didn't know which one was worse: to be married to a stranger or Joshua Sullivan?

Joshua's POV

I parked my car in front of the mansion and got out of the car. I was at the nightclub closer here. So I decided to stay the night at my parents'.

My parents were on a vacation, but my sister was home.

When I walked into the living room, I saw my sister talking on the phone in the garden. Despite the fact the sliding doors were open, she didn't notice my presence.

After pouring a glass of whiskey for myself and drinking it, I decided to go my room to sleep. I was exhausted. I checked Hazel one more time if she finished talking on the phone, but she hadn't hung up yet. So I decided to go my room without greeting her.

When I was about to go upstairs, I heard noises coming from my sister's room. I frowned, furrowing my eyebrows.

Who was there?

Hazel is in the garden and the maids never clean the rooms at night.

I walked towards Hazel's room quietly and opened the door quickly. My jaw almost dropped when I saw that there was a woman whose body was just covered with a towel. And that woman was no one else, but my wife.

What is going on here?

What is she doing in my sister's room in this state?

How did she find where my parents live?

She mumbled something under her breath, looking at me, her eyes wide in shock.

"What the hell are you doin..." I couldn't finish my sentence as her towel slid down her body, giving me a full view of her flawless porcelain body. I gulped without managing to take my eyes off her body while my pants suddenly got tight.

Shit!

How much I missed her and being inside her. Hearing her soft moans while I give her pleasure.

Damn it!

Get a grip, Joshua!

Don't let her seduce you again.

Don't get into her trap. Probably, she thought it was my room, and she was waiting for me to lure me.

As soon as I took a few steps towards her, she screamed and covered her body with her hands. I instantly stopped, looking at her, dumbstruck.
