Joshua's POV
"Don't talk nonsense, Hazel!" I warned her in frustration. "I have a girlfriend," I remained, rubbing the back of my neck uneasily.Rebecca... If she hears about Celeste.... Damn it!
"Yeah, unfortunately," my younger sister mumbled under her breath.
"I heard it," I stated firmly, giving her a disapproving look.
She heaved a sigh. "I don't like her you know it," she commented and shrugged my shoulders nonchalantly.
"But we agreed. You will respect her and treat her good for me," I reminded her.
"I didn't do otherwise," she pointed out cockily.
"Don't talk bad behind her back as well," I told her, giving her a warning look.
"You are asking for too much," Hazel commented arrogantly and gave me a devilish smirk.
I rolled his eyes in annoyance as I stood up while drinking my coffee. "See you later."
"Are you leaving? But you didn't eat anything," she said, concerned.
"I am not hungry. I have to leave. I have a meeting," I informed her as I placed my cup on the saucer.
"On Sunday?" she asked, raising her eyebrow.
"With my lawyer. It is important," I replied firmly and looked at my Rolex. "Bye," I added and walked towards the door in quick steps.
"See you. And don't forget to apologize to Celeste," my sister shouted behind him. I rolled my eyes, gritting my teeth.
***As soon as I arrived at the company, I approached my assistant and asked her to bring me a new lawyer's employee file.
"A new lawyer?" she asked, confused.
"Yes, Celeste Marshall," I replied between gritted teeth.
"But she has been working here for a month," she commented in confusion.
"A month?" I asked, shocked.
She has been under my nose for a month, but I was looking for her somewhere else.
Damn it!
"Yes, about a month, sir," my assistant answered politely.
I sighed, nodding. "Bring her employee file," I demanded and went to my office angrily.
Once my assistant brought the file, I opened it quickly and examined Celeste's file. I frowned as I saw her marital status.
Single?
Does she have a memory problem?!
I will remind her that she is fucking my wife.
I gritted my teeth angrily, closing the file, and called my assistant.
"Tell Celeste to come to my office quickly," I stated firmly and hung up the phone without letting her anything.
A few minutes later, my little Pinocchio walked into my office and closed the door behind her. I roamed her body from head to toe; she looked so sexy in her beige midi dress which was revealing her curves.
"You wanted to see me?!" she commented dryly.
"So I am an annoying jerk?!" I said firmly, raising my eyebrow.
"I didn't say such a thing," she stated angrily.
"In Vegas when I introduced myself, you mentioned that there was a boy named Joshua who was an annoying jerk, and he kept annoying you in childhood. I don't think you met a lot of Joshuas. I am your first one," I stated, emphasizing the last sentence, and bit my lower lip, roaming her body.
She gulped nervously and ruffled her hair. "I don't understand what you are saying. If there is nothing important, I am leaving. I have a lot of work to do," she commented dryly.
"You gave the misinformation about your marital status," I informed her smugly, raising her file up in air. "Here is written you are single. As much as I know it is old news," I added, giving her a wicked smirk.
"It is the part of my past which I want to forget," she stated bitterly.
I gritted my teeth in irritation and commented devilishly. "I am sorry to break it to you that it is impossible, Pinocchio. I will make sure that there won't be any day you forget about it."
Celeste clenched her fist, giving me a dirty look without saying anything.
I gave her a victorious smirk, leaning back against my seat. "By the way, why did you lie to me about your name, Celeste?" I asked curiously, emphasizing her name.
"I didn't lie. Rosa is my middle name," she replied, bored.
"I know, but you don't use that name," I reminded, giving her a knowing look.
She sighed and explained dryly. "My father is an ambassador. I have to be careful and not get involved in any scandal. So since my teenager years, I have used my middle name when I found it necessary."
"Troublemaker? Huh? It seems you often use that name," I mocked her.
Celeste gave me a dirty look, folding her arms over her chest.
"Why did you pretend that you don't know me when we were in Vegas?" I asked firmly.
"What?! I didn't pretend. The last time I have seen you was about fifteen years ago," she objected angrily, unfolding her arms while furrowing her eyebrows.
I frowned in annoyance. "Don't lie to me, Celeste. I am sure you saw my photos with Hazel."
I am sure Hazel sent her our photos.
Yes, she couldn't see my photo when she was in the mansion because in the living room was just Hazel and my childhood photos. The photos which we took in adulthood were just in my father's study room and my parents' bedroom. In Hazel's and my bedroom were our alone photos and the photo with our parents and me which was taken at her first birthday.
"She didn't send me. I told her not to send me her photos with you because I don't want to see your face," she stated bitterly, giving me a disgusting look. "And if you start to accuse me again, your sister doesn't post your photos on her Instagram as well."
"Because I don't let her share the photos with me on her account. Her Instagram account isn't private. So when she posts my photos, paparazzi and her friends keep bothering me," I explained.
"Her friends?" she asked, puzzled.
"They kept sending me direct messages non-stop, including nude photos," I answered and gave her an arrogant smirk.
"Poor girls! They have bad tastes," she commented sarcastically.
"Less than you, babe," I stated provocatively and bit my lower lip, looking at her lustfully. "Did we have sex twice or three times?! Or you prefer calling it love making? Huh?" I added smugly and ran my tongue over my lower lip.
Her cheeks flushed instantly and she averted her gaze. I smirked, self-satisfied.
"I am sorry to break it to you that you will see me a lot, wifey," I resumed devilishly.
You are in my hands now, babe. I will take my revenge for all days I spent looking for you desperately... and your insults. You will see my face every day till you get addicted to me.
"Has the cat got your tongue?" I asked in a sardonic tone.
"Joshua!" she exclaimed in irritation.
"Celeste!" I said, grinning in amusement.
She rolled her eyes, clenching her fist. "Does your girlfriend know about Vegas?" she asked wickedly.
I looked at her, dumbfounded. How does she know about Rebecca?
Hazel!
Of course, that little gossip girl told her.
I gritted my teeth and entwined my hands on my desk. "It isn't necessary. We have broken up before I went to Vegas," I informed her firmly.
"And you found a rebound girl quickly," she commented angrily.
"Don't talk nonsense," I warned her. "It is one time thing. We were drunk," I added nonchalantly.
She gritted her teeth, shooting daggers at me. "I want to get divorced," she announced dryly.
"You can't decide it on your own, wifey," I said in an authoritative tone.
"Don't act like you want to stay married to me. As you previously mentioned, we were drunk," Celeste remarked bitterly.
"I don't have time to deal with it. I inform you when I have a free time," I informed her nonchalantly.
Yes, I wanted to get rid of this marriage, but after finding out my wife was no one else but Celeste, I changed my mind. Now I am not planning to end it quickly. She is in my hands now and I don't plan to take it easy on her.
Let's the game begin.
"It won't take your time so much. I will take care of everything," she said, interrupting my thoughts.
"I told you I don't have time right now. And it isn't about just documents. I have to take care that paparazzi don't find about marriage. So I will inform you when it is the right time," I lied dryly.
"But..."
"I will inform you. You may leave now," I declared in a bossy tone, cutting her off.
She gritted her teeth and left the office, slamming the door behind her. I smirked arrogantly as I leaned back against my seat.
