Chapter 8.

|*Autumn's P.O.V.*|

I changed into something more comfortable and met Gabe in the living room. We awkwardly sat there.

"Lets talk." We said in unison. "You go first. No you. Ok." We said again in unison.

"You can go first." Gabe said to me.

"Okay. So um, what i want to say is, well, what happened between us happened and that is now in the past. I think we shouldn't act all awkward around each other. We should act like friends, which we are now." I said. He looked at me.

"What if I don't want to be friends?" He said.

"Then we can just not act weird around each other."

"Autumn, that's not what I mean."

"Tell me what you mean then?" I waited for his answer. He looked down at his shoes.

"I mean, what if I want to be more than friends?"

"Well, you obviously don't since you got a girlfriend." I said. He looked down.

"That was a mistake. I dont even love her."

"Then why are you with her?"

"Because, I tried to move on. I was hurting over the seperation we had."

"Oh. And have you moved on?"

"Honestly, no. Im still crazy for you and I think  I always will be. But it seems like youve moved on." He said folding his hands together.

"I didnt. I tried, but i guess no one will take your place. Not even Adam. I still...Love you." I said the last part slowly.

"I still love you too." He told me smiling. We both got up and hugged eachother tightly. I took in his scent and it made me feel like everything was going to be like it used to be. I didnt want to let go. And im sure he doesnt either. We hugged for a few more minutes then we pulled away. He held my shoulders as we stared in eachothers eyes.

"So, what are we now?" He asked.

"Just friends." I said.

"Maybe this will change your mind." He said leaning in closer to me. I wanted to move away but I just stood still, looking at his lips getting dangerously close to mine.

His lips finally met mine and he kissed me passionatly. I let him, and soon I realized I miss his lips on mine, so i kissed back. He pulled away smiling.

"Did I change your mind now?" He said giving me a smirk. I decided to play with him for thinking that a kiss can turn everything back to how it was.

"Nope. Still friends." I said smiling. I lead him to the door.

"I know what your doing. You want me to make you change your mind again. In other words, Convince you." He said smirking.

"Maybe, maybe not. But either way, I dont think youll convince me."

"Okay. Your on."

"Whatever, bye Gabe." I said smiling.

"Your not gonna let me, stay here?" He said with a smirk followed by a wink.

"Get out." I said grinning a bit.

"Okay. But I will next time. Bye Autumn." He said with a smile. I said bye and he left. I closed the door and began to fix up my room.

I finished around 2 am. I flopped down on my bed and sighed of relief. My phone then beep, saying that I got a message. It was Gabe.
