Chapter 17.

|*Autumn's P.O.V.*|

I just laid there. Staring at the wall like it was the most interesting thing in the world. My phone turned off and I haven't charged it since. I didn't want to talk to anybody or see what the world was talking about. I didn't care. I haven't heard or seen anyone for almost 5 days. I took some time off from the studio and stayed inside. I haven't ate anything and my stomach was hurting really bad. But I don't care. My eyes were puffy and red from all the crying I have done. My throat hurt from all of the screaming I've done. I was lost and I was broken.

A few hours later, there was a knock at the door. I didn't want to get up and answer so I just laid there. There was a knock again. I didn't care. Then I heard the door open. I didn't care. I didn't care if it was a robber. I didn't care if the person coming in was trying to kill me. I already felt dead anyways. The person came upstairs and opened the door to my room. I didn't bother to face them and see who it was.

"Autumn. I've been texting you and calling you. Why haven't you answered?" I heard Allie say. I didn't say anything.

"Autumn whats wrong?" She asked. I didn't answer. She then pulled my shoulder and faced me towards her. I didn't look at her.

"Autumn. What happened? Why aren't you answering me?" She asked. I looked at her and she seemed like she knew. She then pulled me towards her and brought me into a hug. I started crying into her shoulder.

After a half hour of crying, I calmed down and Allie stood up.

"Autumn?" Allie simply said. I took a deep breath in.

"I thought he loved me." I plainly said.

"What did he do?"

"I, um..." I tried saying without crying. "I went to his house. And um," a tear fell down my cheek. "I found Kim and him in bed. Together." I spat out. Allie looked at me wide eyed shocked.

"But Gabe wouldn't do that to you." Allie said.

"Well, it happened and I saw them with my own eyes."

"Why did you go to his house?"

"Because he texted me and said that he had a surprise for me." Allie gave me a confused look.

"Why would he text you to go to his house if he was with Kim? That seems weird." I looked at her. She has a point it is weird. Why would he want me to go over if he was with Kim?

"Anyways, let's get you up and ready?" Allie said.

"Why, for what?"

"Well, first, the boys have been wondering where you have been, and second, you can't just run away and live miserably under your sheets. You got a competition to win." I fell back on my bed. "Come on Autumn. Think about yourself. This competition can show people what you are all about. Don't think about him, think about you." She said smiling. I looked at her and gave in.

"You have a point. I'll do it. Thanks Allie."

"Your welcome, now go take a shower, you stink." Allie said while pushing me towards the bathroom. I smiled and went inside. I took a shower and Allie gave me my clothes. I remember wearing it. And I still looked good.

I put my hair up in a pony tail. And Allie smiled at me. She charged my phone while I was getting ready, and then she gave it to me. I grabbed what I needed and Allie and I went to the studio.

AT THE STUDIO

I looked at myself in the mirror. Allie started the music. I danced to it and I didn't like it. So what I did was I made a new dance. I kept the moves that Dana and Cole gave me tips on though. I changed the music also. I danced to it and I was satisfied.

DAY OF WORLD OF DANCE

So I have been practicing and I think I can win this. I wore a black shirt with white wings on the back, black pants, and black vans. I had my hair lightly curled. I'm still heart broken but dance made me feel better. I was in the dressing room when Allie came, followed by Dana and Cole.

"Hey!!!" They all said in unison. I smiled and went to hug them.

"I can't wait to see the dance." Dana said.

"Bout that...I changed it. But I kept the moves you guys helped me with."

"Can you show us?" Dana asked.

"Nope, it's a surprise." He pouted.

"Oh um, Gabe will be here, he was just stopped at some place." I nodded. About Gabe, I haven't seen him in about a week and a half. He kept texting me but I just made up excuses.

"Okay guys, let's go find our seats. We will be in the front row." Allie said. They all then said good luck to me and left to their seats. I'm so nervous but I know I'm gonna kill it. I took deep breaths and I walked back stage. I was stretching and doing breathing exercises as well as the other performers. Until I heard my name.

"Now for next performer, she's new, and she has skills. Give it up for Autumn!" The announcer said then he ran backstage. I walked out on stage and people cheered for me. I turned around and waited for the music to play. Then Miley Cyrus's Wrecking Ball started to play. I started dancing to the music while adding emotion. When the song was about to go into the chorus, the remix began. I did a leg move and then got up. A guy came out and started throwing free shirts at the audience. He then gave me my SnapBack and ran off the stage. I started dancing to the remix. I then ended bowing. I heard people scream and cheer for me. I looked at the front and saw Dana, Allie, Cole and Gabe screaming there lungs out. I smiled and waved to the audience and then I ran off the stage.

"Wow! That was amazing. Don't you guys think so?" The announcer said coming back on stage. People cheered and screamed. Then they started chanting my name.

"Autumn! Autumn! Autumn!" I heard as I smiled widely. I almost wanted to cry. But I didn't. Wow! What a rush!!!!
