Radha consoled the crying Sitara as much as she can. Carressing her head softly, she left the room and walked down the stairs. In the hall, there present a hot headed Yash, a traumatized Sumi and a over reactive Rakhi. She went to Yash and stood infront of him.
"Bhaiya, aapko jara bhi andaja hai aap baat ko kidhar se kidhar leke ja rahe hai?" She started making him sigh in frustration.
(Bhaiya do you realise where are you dragging the conversation to?)"Don't get started Radha. Just stop it" he muttered irritated.
"No no. I am not starting it. I am going to end it" Radha immediately shook her head, earning his full attention.
"What do you want?" He came to the point, staring at her intently.
"Do you know the reason of your enemity with the Rajvansh's?" She asked taking him off guard. He felt a bit confused hearing her question. Nevertheless he answered.
"Of course I know. Our families has been enemies since ages" he shrugged. Radha smiled in a taunting way and shook her head.
"I asked the reason bhaiya. I and every other person knows we have been enemies for ages. For God knows how long. But do you know the reason?" She questioned again, making him speechless.
Does he knows the reason? No he doesn't. He has been following the thing his ancestors has been following.
"Our ancestors were enemies" was his answer.
"Bhaiya, we aren't in king and queen's world now. The world has changed. India has been changed. It doesn't work by the king's order. The country is worked by it's democracy and constitution. We are in 20th century now. We don't need to avenge our 100 years old ancestors who killed each other for their kingdom and land" Radha explained, leaving him silent.
"Why are we even fighting with them?"
"Do anyone know it? No. Did he did anything to you? No. You both have been competiting because that's what you were told to do. Not because you want to do. You don't even know what you are fighting for" she tried making him understand.
"Radha stop this-"
"Please stop interrupting when people talk didi" Radha brutally snapped at Rakhi.
"Do you know how much impact both of your enemity is effecting them?" Radha now turned to Yash.
"They are both innocent human. Who did what? Love each other? And that's all. What crime did she did that you would scold her or punish her for it" she continued.
"You raised your hand upon her for the first time. On your daughter. On your beloved daughter whom you dote on your life. Just because of that stupid enemity between you both" Radha seethed in anger.
"Have you tried asking her about her feelings? How she feels about that boy Abir?" Yash didn't said anything. He clenched his fist. Realisation slowly dawned upon him. Guilt started feeling inside his heart.
"He is the only one whom she loves after you bhaiya" Radha's voice now softened as she said this. Yash looked away, emotions pooling up inside him.
"Did you know what she said? 'bua he is the only who cared for me after baba. I won't be able to live without him" she chuckled as she uttered those words.
"Do you know how scared she was. Thinking that what would happen when you would come to know about it. She was stuck in between not able to leave Abir and scared of disappointing you" she emphasize on every word she spoke.
"Have you ever heard her out? How she thinks? Or have you ever known him? Or tried to know him? Do you know how he looks upto her? Even if you search up and find the best guy for Tara you won't find a guy like him bhaiya. He loves Tara more than himself. I have seen the love he helds for her. No one would love Tara like he loves her" Radha completed her monologue.
