Abir turned the steering wheel and stepped on the brakes, stopping the car before a florist shop.It was finally the day of the celebration of the golden Jubilee of their university. A week went by flying without the notice of anyone. Abir came out of his car, dressed in a white colour shirt tucked in properly inside his cream colour pants.
He entered inside the shop only to be greeted by a group of young women. All of them stared at him without blinking a bit. Abir ignoring them, went to the counter.
"I want a bouquet of daisies" he demanded.
"Sure sir. Do you want any note along with it?" The woman sitting asked politely.
"Ummm. Sure" Abir nodded after thinking for a moment. The woman took out a small cardboard like paper and a pen.
"What would you like to write sir-"
"I want to write it please" he interrupted her, adding the please at last so that he doesn't sound rude. Sitara's influence over him got him doing unusual things. He controlled the urge to smile thinking of it.
The woman nodded and handed him the note and the pen. Abir looked at the note for a moment before writing it down.
You did well. And I am proud of you. I never knew you could dance this well! Looking forward to reveal more of your hidden skills!
Abir smiled a little seeing the note. He haven't ever seen her dance, but he knows, she will be the best among all the other dancers. For him, no matter who the other person is, his Sita will perform the best.
He scratched his neck slowly. The note was too simple. He just hoped his Sita likes it. Oh who was he kidding to. There's nothing Sitara doesn't like if it's a gift given to her. No matter what the gift is.
Just then a young woman came to him and handed him the bouquet. Abir simply nodded at her and took the bouquet from her. He took the glue that was on the counter table and applied it over the note. Pasting the note on the bouquet he handed the money and walked out of the shop.
Walking towards his car, he opened the door and entered inside. Keeping the bouquet on the seat beside him, a smile crept on his face.
It was his Sita's place. Reserved for only her.
Shaking his thoughts, he started the car and started driving towards the uni. On the way to the road, he saw many students dressed elegantly. Some boys came in suit, dressed neatly. Some in shirt and a pant. The girls wore bodycon dresses and others wore sarees and their respective traditional dresses.
Seeing them, the excitement to see Sitara in a different attire bubbled inside him more. He was curious to know what she was going to wear. On which song was she going to dance on.
He parked the car in the parking load and grabbed the bouquet along with him, before coming out of the car. He looked around, searching for that certain someone but to his dismay, he couldn't find.
Sighing, he went inside, only to be greeted by few proffesors and students. Going to the auditorium, he saw half of the students taking their places. Looking around, he found Daksh who immediately smiled widely after seeing him.
He came running to him, leaving the man he was talking with in the middle.
"Aa hi gaya tu" he grinned.
(Finally you came)"Sitara ko dekha?" Was the only thing Abir asked.
(Did you saw Sitara?)"What? No hi hello. Aate hi bas bhabhi" Daksh scowled at him. Abir sighed hearing him.
(As soon as you came only bhabhi)
