=CHAPTER 4= {Forest}

"I'll keep watch while you guys rest. I'm not all that tired." Doggy told the group.

Lego yawned. "You do you, Doggy."

"Night, guys." Kreek said, still holding the poptarts from earlier.

Player nodded. They retreated into the tents, leaving Doggy outside on a wood log.

Time Skip >.•

"Come on Pony. Do you see that officer over there? He took me away from my family." ??? growled.

"I'm sorry Willow, just I don't think this is a good-" Pony tried to reason, before Willow snapped.

"Of course it's a good idea!" She lifted up the potion. "You, make him drink this. You need to prove yourself if you want to stay with us."

"But I-" he was cut of again, this time Willow held a gun to his head.

"If you don't, I will blow your brains out." She shouted. "Now, do it!"

"F-fine." Pony said, holding his hands up. Willow handed him the potion, and he walked forwards.

Gulping, he popped the cork and poured it into the officer's mouth.

He didn't like this, not one bit.

"Good, now let's go before he turns into one of them." A rustling was sounded after that, and they both ran away, Pony barely daring to look back.

"What was that? Where did Doggy go?" Player asked, looking around bewildered.

"Hey! Look at that." Lego called attention to a potion bottle beside where Doggy had been previously sat.

"Did.. did he drink it?" Kreek yawned, walking out of the tent.

A shiver ran down Player's spine. They turned around, a figure standing in the distance. Its eye glowed red and yellow.

It started progressing forwards, as it was closer, Player's eyes widened.

"DOGGY!" They yelled, startling the others. When they saw Player was running, they joined them.

"We have to get out of here." Lego told the others. He was always good at hard situations like these.

Le time skip :D

Kreek panted. "I haven't run like that in awhile." Lego rolled his eyes, before stiffening.

Player had fallen onto their knees, tears streaming out their eyes.

"Doggy.." they mumbled in between sobs.

"Player." Kreek walked over. "Let it out, bud. I'm so sorry." He sighed.

"We shouldn't have left him to watch alone. He probably fell asleep." They mumbled.

"Player." Lego snapped his fingers. "I'm upset about this too, but this place isn't safe anymore. We need to go-" he was cut off by a radio.

"Hello? Is anyone there?" A voice asked.

"What- oh, uh yes. We can hear you." Kreek answered

"My friend got trapped in the school, can you help get her out? I'll meet you in the sewers." The voice requested.

"I- alright. It doesn't hurt to find more survivors." Player shrugged, still sobbing slightly.
