"I THOUGHT YOU SAID THEY WOULD BE HERE!?" Brando screamed through out the gun fire as they tried there best to keep the landing area clear. They had called for pickup 5 minutes ago. A piolet should have been here by now.
"I don't know Sir there's a storm jamming all my equipment!" Stewart shouted back. Amara had set herself on the highest point, taking shot at anything in the distance to help clear out the cluster fuck that was becoming too much.
"God damnt!"
"Captain! Pelicon incoming!" Amara shouted as he looked to the sky seeing the outline of the ships trail through the atmosphere. A since of semi relief washed over him.
"Get together, were getting out of here, NOW!"
Vigil and Stewart were appeared quickly. Amara was standing but still firing shots.
"I can't make it down! A new waves coming, and fast!"
"GET DOWN HERE CADET NOW!" Joseph yelled angerly as the Pelicon landed. He nodded for the other two to get on.
"Captain come on!"
"No! No one's getting left behind."
"We can't wait! We'll get over run!"
Joseph looked up to see Amara jumping from the top of her perch. His breath held in his chest. She landed and he heard her grunts on impact, that had to have hurt her. She stumbled, and hobbled her way to the ship.
"Come on!" He yelled grabbing her arm and throwing her on the ship joining her as it began to take off.
"What was that cadet!?"
"I....I had to buy us some time!"
"Time for what?!"
"Sir we've been target!"
Joseph heard the pilot say with fear in his voice. Turning towards Amara, she hung her heard. Everyone braced as the side of the pelicon took on heavy gun fire. She had tried to take out an anti tanker. That's what she was doing.
IMPACT INEVITABLE
The ship's voice warned as the next his took out one of the rockets, sending it into a spin.
"Everyone brace yourselves!" Joseph yelled as he sent an SOS to the ship in hopes they would get it in time.

I shook my head groaning in pain as my eyes slowly opened and adjusted after the crash. I heard nothing but a ringing in my ears and the sparks of a broken ship around me. I was still strapped in my seat as I lifted my head. I reached into my side pocket as pain shot through me. My fingers rushing to find a stem.
Eventually finding one I jammed it into my thigh and let out a groan as the medication shot through me giving me a post of adrenaline. The ship looked to be in pieces. I unclipped and stumbled hitting the ground beneath my dangling body. I grunted as I looked around. The pilot was KIA, and as I wandered the wreckage, Stewart and Virgil were missing. I continued to circle around looking, calling over the coms to anyone. But it was radio silence. A shiver ran down my spine as I walked out of what remained of the front half of the pelicon. Thankfully there were no drop ships, brawlers or scouts as far as I could see. I continued to call out, desperately hoping someone would answer. Finally, static rang in my ear, a muffled voice responding.
"Amara....Amara are you there?"
"Captain Brando?" I stilled for a moment, hoping that maybe he was near by, or covered safely by some piece of the ship. I heard movement not to far off to my left and turn to see a man shoving metal off him and staggering to get up to a standing position.
