×Jake's pov×
"Hurry up, hyung, we'll be late!"
"Calm down. We will make it on time. It's not that we have to be there at a specific time anyway."
"But, hyung, we will be the last to arrive there-"
"Shut up, or I'll kiss you."
Jake just stayed quiet, crossing his arms against his chest, looking everywhere but at Felix.
Felix glanced at him, and laughed quietly, tying his shoelaces as quickly as he could tie them.
"I'm ready."
"Finally!"
"Oh? Finally?"
Felix grabbed Jake by his shoulders pinning him against the wall, looking at the younger's lips.
"Finally? Do you want me to make us run late?"
"Hyung-"
"Ah, you're cute when you're blushing."
The elder giggled, grabbing Jake's hand, leading him outside of the house, locking the door behind him.
Which was a bit difficult since his right hand was taken by Jake, but he didn't want to let go just to lock the door faster.
"When is Jay leaving, again?"
"Next Sunday. December first. For three weeks."
"Oh. But Sunghoon's birthday..."
"Shit, I forgot about that. Well, I'm sure Jay will do something about it."
They got in the car, and Felix turned on the engine. He glanced at Jake once more, before starting to drive.
To Jake, it felt like he was looking at him to gain strength to do anything. Like he was Felix's source of power.
"Until when we'll be there?"
"I don't know. It's six o'clock now, so probably at midnight?"
Felix nodded, and looked back straight, letting a sigh escape his lips, sounding a bit bored.
Which made Jake feel bad, as if he was making Felix feel forced to go there with him just because they were spending too much time together.
"We can leave earlier if you want."
The elder quickly looked at Jake, and smiled, slightly, placing his hand on the younger's thigh.
"Your best friend is leaving soon, if you want to spend time with him, I'm totally fine with it."
"No, I... hyung-"
Jake couldn't focus. He couldn't say a sentence correctly, couldn't put the right words in the right place.
I have such a love hate relationship with this thing he does when we're in the car.
Felix removed his hand, placing it back on the steering wheel, and Jake let out a quiet sigh of relief.
"It's not that it's his first time leaving. And it's not that he won't be back soon. I think Sunghoon is doing it mostly for Jay and Jungwon, to spend time together. So if you want to leave, we can. Just not before ten."
"It will be fine if we're having fun with the others."
"Wait, stop, you passed the house. Again."
"Oh. Oops."
Felix went back, parking the car outside the house, and turned off the car, getting out.
He walked over to Jake's door, and opened it for him, stepping back, allowing him to get out.
