×Sunghoon's pov×
Heeseung, clearing his throat, turned around, motioning Sunghoon to follow him through another room.
It was Heeseung's room. And unlike the rest of his apartment, his room was too messy.
"Ignore it. It's not messy usually. I was cleaning up some very old stuff a long time ago, and forgot my things on my bed. If I have no one to stay here with, I just sleep on the couch, so I never paid attention to my bed. You know, it's closer to the front door, and that way, I feel lik I'm closer to people."
So Heeseung was alone. That's why he wanted Sunghoon to stay with him. The younger felt bad, the thought of Heeseung being alone making him want to stay with him more.
But Sunghoon didn't pay attention to the bed. The room, despite the mess was really cute, and, except for the bed the rest of the room was clean, and organised.
"Give me some time, I'll clean up so you can sleep."
"No, it's fine."
Sunghoon said, as he noticed how Heeseung couldn't keep his balance, and was always about to fall.
"Wait, at least these have to go."
Heeseung murmured, taking the books off the bed, placing them all right beside it.
"Here."
The bed had many pillows on it, and even some weights. But Sunghoon just wanted to sleep, so he sat on the edge and looked at Heeseung.
"Is the guitar bothering you?"
"Nope, not at all. Are you gonna sleep, too?"
"Yeah, I will. Let me change."
Sunghoon stood up, grabbing the elder's hands, stopping him from wearing any clean clothes while smelling like a bottle of alcohol.
"You need to take a bath first."
"Oh. But- awh. Fine. You can change clothes, too, if you want."
Heeseung, looking slightly embarrassed, grabbed a pair of grey sweatpants, and walked towards the bathroom, a faint smell of alcohol clinging to his clothes. He disappeared into the bathroom, the door closing behind him.
Sunghoon, feeling a strange mix of concern and curiosity, glanced at Heeseung's closet, where a few clothes hung loosely, the faint scent of lavender wafting towards him. He took out a soft, white T-shirt, its fabric smooth against his fingertips.
It smelled faintly of Heeseung, a mix of the lavender and jasmine. He slipped on the T-shirt, feeling a bit awkward, but it felt oddly comforting.
Heeseung stepped out of the bathroom after a few minutes, looking remarkably different. The alcohol smell was gone, replaced by a clean, almost citrusy fragrance.
His wet hair was tousled, framing his face, and his skin seemed to be glowing under the dim light. His sweatpants hung loosely on his hips, his toned legs visible beneath them. He looked tired, but the tiredness seemed to make him even more attractive. Sunghoon couldn't help but stare.
There was something about the way Heeseung's cheekbones were slightly prominent, the way his nose dipped slightly and the way his lips, even when they were slightly parted, looked so full. It was an intoxicating mixture of vulnerability and captivating masculinity.
Heeseung's gaze moved to the shirt Sunghoon was wearing, then back to him. He looked stunned, speechless for a moment. Then, a slow smile spread across his fack.
"My clothes make you look like a giant teddy bear."
He said, and moved to his wardrobe and pulled out a plain black T-shirt, his movements slow and deliberate.
He slipped it on, his shirtless frame flashing for a fleeting moment, making Sunghoon feel his pulse quicken.
Heeseung then walked towards the bed, dropping onto it with a sigh. His left arm went behind his head, his right knee bent, and he turned to look at Sunghoon. The bed seemed to sink slightly under his weight, the mattress sagging just a bit.
Sunghoon, still caught in the thrall of Heeseung's presence, took a deep breath and sat down on the edge of the bed.
The mattress dipped slightly under his weight, and he felt a sudden closeness to Heeseung that left him breathless.
He stared at the elder, who was now looking at him, his eyes dark and thoughtful.
He couldn't look away, mesmerized by the way the elder's features seemed to glow under the dim light of the room.
Slowly, almost hesitantly, Sunghoon slid further down the bed, his hand brushing against Heeseung's leg. Heeseung didn't move, his body still and relaxed, and Sunghoon felt a wave of courage wash over him.
He turned his body, his head resting on the pillow next to Heeseung's, his eyes staring at the elder's profile. Heeseung seemed to be looking at him too, his gaze lingering on Sunghoon's face.
"Can I hold your hand?"
Heeseung asked softly, his voice hoarse, almost a whisper. He didn't look shy to ask, at all.
Sunghoon felt his heart skip a beat. He hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do. Heeseung didn't want to make Sunghoon feel uncomfortable, but he also found himself wanting to be closer to him.
"I... I don't mind."
Sunghoon finally mumbled, his voice barely audible. Heeseung reached out, enveloping Sunghoon's hand with his own.
Heeseung's hand, warm and extremely soft, made Sunghoon feel safe, as Heeseung intertwined their fingers.
"Thanks."
Heeseung said, smiling, his voice a little deeper now, a hint of gratitude in his tone.
Sunghoon didn't respond, he simply closed his eyes and allowed himself to sink into the feeling of Heeseung's hand holding his. It was a small gesture, but it felt monumental.
He fell asleep, holding Heeseung's hand. He wasn't into physical touch normally, but with Heeseung, it felt different.
He had forgotten about his knee, about Jay, about anything that made him feel even a little sad.
It was like Heeseung had gotten into his mind and took out any bad thoughts the younger had.
He just woke up an hour later, checking his phone, seeing a message from Jay, telling him that he had arrived.
Sunghoon smiled, quickly responding to the message, promising Jay that he would call him in the morning.
