Chapter 6: The Betrayal of Dru-Zod

Cheetor: "Dru-Zod? What are you doing here?!"

Dru-Zod: "I guess it's not obvious yet; We're preparing Animatron to join the Draconian Empire."

Cheetor: "Draconian Empire?"

Dru-Zod: "Non! Faora! Ursa! Dax! Fall in!"

All: "Hail, Lord Zod!"

In that moment, Dru-Zod finally reveals himself as "Zod" of the Draconian Empire. And he wants Drago to join him as the Empire conquers the planet. 

DesiRex: "Dru-Zod! What's the meaning of this?!"

Then, he holds the residents of House Targaran and the Dragon Kingdom hostage until they join him too. 

Nyx: "But why?! You said you worked for the Draconian Resistance!"

Then, Zod reveals that he lied to everyone about the Draconian Resistance being a force for good and he revealed the reason why Drago's father, Dragonus Prime betrayed his mission to conquer Cybertron in the name of the Empire, and became a Prime, no less. And, that's while he and his followers were trapped in the Phantom Realm. But now that his son stands before him, knowing that he became much stronger while fighting the Unicron Alliance, MegaFlame, Predaking, Viral, and even Homelander, Zod's dream will become a reality. 

Dru-Zod/Zod: "Dragonus, at last, you will finally see... the rebirth of the true Draconian Empire!"

Drago: "My father never wanted any of this!!!"

Zod: "Hmm?"

Drago: "Dru-Zod! I thought you understood him. I thought you wanted a new Era for Dracon!"

Zod: "I DON'T CAAAAAAARE!!!!! Why do you think he betrayed me? That won't matter, once I make my dream a reality!"

At this point, Drago is furious with Zod because he thought he understood what Dragonus wanted for Dracon, and that he wanted peace between Dracon and Cybertron, but he didn't care, as long as the price Dragonus pays for betraying him means him using Drago as a tool for the Empire. And now, Zod absorbs Drayzen, Drina, and Drea's Golden powers for his own as he transforms into his own version of a Golden Dragon and destroys the Maximals.

Zod: "This is my true power, and I am the True Golden Dragon!"

Seeing his friends hurt, Drago, in a fit of rage, tries breaking the Dracobane chains without knowing that will kill him. Then, Cheetor counteracts using his Speed to break the Dracobane apart. 

Drayzen: "Sorry, Drago. We didn't know it would turn out like this!"

Drago: "It's fine. No Draconian deserves this, not even one from Animatron."

Drayzen: "Be careful, Drago! Zod is interested in you for some reason."

Drago: "I'll try."

Even though, they're almost out of power, Drayzen tells Drago to fight Zod, even though he wants the latter as his tool. Drago fights Zod and another battle begins. Drago fights using all his forms, including his TRANS-AM. 

Drago: "Zod!!!"

Zod: "That's "Lord" Zod to you, Dragel! Now, join me so we can rule this planet together!"

Despite that, Zod surpasses him, both in power, and in strength, even in his Golden Dragon Mode. 

Jaune: "I thought Dragel was the one who came to destroy this world, but this... this is all wrong."

Jaune watches the 2 Draconians fight while realizing that the one he thought was the weapon wasn't Drago, but Zod. Speaking of which, Zod finally sees Drago's Golden Dragon Mode. 

Zod: "Golden against Golden? You really are worthy of being by my side!"

Drago: "Screw off! You're only "Golden" on the inside!"

And yet, Zod proves that he's far superior when it comes to Golden Dragon Mode. Zod gives him one last chance to either join him and rule Animatron, or kneel before him. 

Zod: "Now that I've surpassed your Golden Dragon Mode, you must join me and rule this planet!"

[...]

Drago: "Like hell!"

But Drago still refuses. However, Zod gives him one day to decide which side will Drago take; the Empire, or his friends.
