Chapter 8: Fighting for Drago

[BOOM!!!]

Non: "Maximals! Hand Dragel over or be destroyed!"

Just then, Non attacks the Maximals and he demands that Drago should come with them to fulfill his destiny. As the Maximals refuse to hand over Drago, another battle ensues. 

Drud: "You're fighting me, musclehead!"

Druddigon fights Non while Faora seeks to finish off Drago. DragoGirl steps in and fights Faora, her old teacher, now Zod's lackey. 

DragoGirl: "Faora?"

Faora: "Dragona?"

[...]

Nyx: "Come on, let's get you someplace safe!"

Zod: "Leave him!"

Zod: "Now, hand over Dragel so he can fulfill his destiny!"

Sonar: "No! You want him? You gotta kill us first!"

Nightscream: "That's right!"

Nyx: "Eat slag!"

Zod: "So be it!"

Then, Zod shows up and wipes the floor with Sonar, Nyx, and Nightscream before asking Drago to join him but still, he refuses, saying he needs 20,000 years before he'll get him to join. 

Zod: "See, Dragel? They're weaklings to us! All you have to do is join me so we can fulfill what Dragonus wanted for you!"

Drago: "I dunno what you think of my father, but it's gonna take 20,000 years before you get me to join you!"

Zod: "I don't need "20,000 years". "now" is all I need!"

That's when, Zod unleashes the Draclopes Drones, which used to be part of the Unicron Alliance, but now they work for him. The Draclopes Drones attack the Maximals as the battle rages on.

Zod: "Doomsday, awaken!"

That's when, Zod unleashes Dax-Ur, who now transforms into Doomsday. After that, the Maximals are either dead or defeated thanks to Doomsday. 

Zod: "Still won't believe you were meant for the Empire? Because I'm gonna have to make you believe me!"

Drago: "I told you, don't want to join you! Why won't you get that?"

DragoGirl: "Zod, stop this! Let go of my cousin!"

Then, Zod uses a device called the "Compliance Chip" to control him; not just because he wants to make Drago his tool, but to make him believe that he and Zod have the same desire: to rule the Galaxy. 

Zod: "This time, you will be my tool, whether you like it or not; This is what's gonna make you kneel. Before. ZOD!"

As Zod uses the Compliance Chip, Drago tries to resist, remembering Optimus Prime's words and why he chose him, his team, his loved ones, and his rival and cousin. 

Drago: "I am a Prime! I am a Prime! I am... Wait, what am I?"

Zod: "You are my tool, Dragel! You belong to the Draconian Empire. Together, we can usher in a new era for Dracon!"

Speaking of his cousin, DragoGirl breaks free of the Draclopes' clutches and saves Drago, but she was too late as Zod succeeds in making Drago his comrade for the Draconian Empire. 

DragoGirl: "Dragel, are you okay?"

Drago: "I'm fine, (eyes turn red) but you won't be!"

DragoGirl: "Noooo!"

Zod: "I told you no one can resist the Compliance Chip, and with you as my tool, the 2 of us are now the same. We are meant to rule over everything! That's all a Draconian is."
