Chapter 9: Picking up the Pieces

With Drago under their control, Zod is free to take over the Universe. 

Zod: "Now, I have Drago at my beck and call. Your first order of business: destroy the Maximals."

First, Zod orders Drago to destroy his friends, but inside, Drago's still fighting against Zod's control. Zod forces his hand and makes him destroy them. 

Jaune: "I knew Drago would turn, but not like this!"

Jaune prepares to put Drago down but, DragoGirl blocks Drago's energy. Then, the Draconian Empire leaves with his army to conquer Cybertron, Neo-Earth, and Earth. 

During their conquest, Zod introduces the Draconian Empire to the Autobots Next Door as they prepare for battle. 

Zod: "Autobots Next Door, the ones who brainwashed Dragel into being a hero, your extinction is near, unless... you will kneel before Zod!"

Rainy: "Drago? Drago! It's me! Rainy!"

Zod: "Dragel can't hear you. He's a servant of the Draconian Empire. Attack!"

Meanwhile, the Maximals, battered and broken, couldn't believe Drago got captured by Zod, of all people. Jaune realized that he should've taken out Drago when he had the chance. So now, what happened in his world is now happening to the Galaxy, which means, Jaune's fears were right: Drago will turn on the Autobots.

The Maximals, now in their darkest hour, still believe that Drago will get out of Zod's control, but if it fails, then Jaune must end him. 

Drud: "If you really think that, then you and Dragel are both fools!"

Drud thinks both Drago and Jaune are both fools for believing their own lies and storms off, but not before DragoGirl yanks him back and believes Drud wants to save Drago.

DragoGirl: "I won't abandon my cousin! Like Optimus Primal said: Every Maximal on this planet is family to him! Just like he was to me! And he was to you!"

Drud: "We're not like that! Don't be weird!"

So then, the Maximals, DragoGirl, Druddigon, and Jaune have to save Drago from Zod and his empire. Only problem is: they have no ship left; the Axalon is totalled and the Treehouse is all but burned. 

Tree Trunks: "Not to worry!"

Botanica: "Hi everyone!"

Longrack: "We.... have... a.... present... for... you...!"

But, Botanica, Tree Trunks, and Longrack came and got a new ship, based on the Axalon's schematics and the Treehouse's biochemistry: the "Gung-ho". Now, the Maximals are headed for Drago, and Cybertron.
