Back at the Axalon Treehouse, the Maximals are recovering, thanks to Botanica's magic, after their encounter with Zod. At this point, Drago is on edge after his battle with Zod, now knowing that he has to make a choice. But, he still remains defiant against Zod.
Jaune: "(thinking)This is all my fault. If I had known that Drago wasn't the weapon, Zod would've made his move!" I'm going back to my ship!"
Rattrap: "Wait, what's on that ship? A new plan?"
Jaune: "Weapons! Enough to kill Zod and Dragel together!"
Rhinox: "But he's not the bad guy!"
Jaune: "But he did kill these people, my people! On my home!"
Silverwing: "You think you can kill Drago? You saw how Zod kicked our skidplates, not to mention Drago's? Plus, he's the one Zod wants."
Cheetor: "Yeah and if you kill him now, what does that make you? Either way, Zod won't get what he wants when he's dead, he'll come after us again!"
Jaune: "Then, I'll end him too, after I deal with Drago, myself!"
Jaune, however, still thinks Drago must be destroyed to avenge his home, despite how Zod wiped the floor with the Maximals, leading to an argument between Jaune and the Maximals.
Drud: "Hmph! What a damn fool!"
Then, someone arrives and calls him a fool for thinking that Drago might turn evil. And that "someone" is Druddigon. This is the first time the Maximals meet one of Drago's friends, even though he's his biggest rival. Then, Drud is informed of Zod and his Draconian Empire.
Drud: "So this "Zod" character gives you a chance to join his army so he could mold you into a true Draconian warrior, and you had the nerve to turn him down?!"
Drago: "Yeah, so what?! I'd rather remain a Prime, than be his tool!"
Drud: "Prime, huh? All you are is a damn fool. Do you think there's any point in showing any enemy mercy, when we both know that you're powerful enough to destroy our enemies, Decepticon or otherwise?! The way they see it, all Draconians care about is power, their pride, nothing else! And, as long as you continue to believe in Optimus Prime's pathetic ideals, you're nothing compared to him!"
He's also informed of Drayzen and DesiRex's fates. Druddigon is reluctant to help the Maximals since he knows Zod plans to use Drago as a tool for the Empire and Jaune's too stubborn to help Drago, since he knows he'll turn on the Autobots and the Maximals and kill millions.
Drago: "I'll stop Zod!"
That's when, Drago decided to stop Zod, and then he tells Jaune to trust him and that he's different from the Drago he knew. Then, DragoGirl, who was hearing their conversation earlier shows up, meets the Maximals, and reveals that Drago is Dragona's cousin. Also, he must know that killing Dragonite won't help against Zod. But, this doesn't change Jaune's mind as he went through hell escaping Drago's wrath.
