Chapter 10: Saving Drago

The Draconian Empire battles the A.N.D. Operatives with the Neo 7 Dragons, led by Ursa and it seems like the A.N.D. is finished, but someone swoops in to stop them: DesiRex of House Targaran. DesiRex challenges Ursa to combat and has her free Drayzen's army if she beats her. Meanwhile, Zod has Drago fulfill whatever mission he gives him if he wants to be free. So, he orders him to destroy the ones who held him back all those years; Meaning, Ironhide, Chromia, and his mentor, Optimus Prime. 

Drago: "Destroy them? They were once my family."

Zod: "Friends, family, love, and kindness. The Empire has no need for such nonsense. You have no need for that nonsense."

Drago: "I have no need for such nonsense, all I have is power."

Zod: "Yes. Power is everything to a Draconian. You, Dragel, have that power."

Drago: "Yes, I have the power."

Zod: "And so, I command you: destroy the ones who held you back all these years ago."

Drago: "Destroy them. I must."

Then, as Drago tries to do what Zod ordered, knowing the latter told him he has the power to fulfill his mission, the Maximals try to stop him and bring Drago back to his senses.

Sonar: "STOOOOOOOOPP!!!"

Drago: "Hmm?"

Sonar: "Drago!"

Nyx: "You can't listen to a word he says!"

Kid Devil: "You have more than just your freaking power!"

Sonar, Nyx, and Kid Devil, all try to bring Drago back to his senses. 

Zod: "What pests! Destroy them and then, Optimus Prime! That's an order!"

Cheetor: "Hold it, Zod! Give us back our friend, right now!"

Zod: "You fools never learn!"

At the same time, Cheetor, SilverWing, and Tigerhawk challenge Zod, to what little avail they had. 

Zod: "This is the power of the Draconian Empire! Now do you understand that you can't defeat us, Maximals?!"

SilverWing: "We're not done! ROCKET SPEAR!!!"

Then, Faora and Non come under attack by Druddigon and DragoGirl. 

Though they fail to bring him back, Jaune steps in and defends the Maximals against Drago. But, will he end him to save his world, or set him straight? Then, Nyx sees that the Compliance Chip is on the back of Drago's neck and they tell him to take the Chip out. 

Nyx: "We can't take it out?! That can't be right!"

Zod: "Of course, you can't! This Compliance Chip was made by a certain Unicron Alliance scientist and one Quintesson Ambassador. Their research was useful to our Empire's technology. All I had to do was take one test subject and the results were a success. It also has a trap in case someone tries to take it out. Of course, taking the Chip out would mean death. So it's too late for you, Maximals!"

However, Zod created it so no one can take out the Chip, and as long as they're under Zod's control, no one can take it out. They will forever be loyal to the person who controls the Compliance Chip.

Now, the Maximals and Jaune are beaten again. And as Drago goes for the kill, 5 individuals came and combined with Drago to form Dragotron. 

Drago: "Where am I? Wait, who are they? My friends?"

Then, in his mind, Drago sees his old friends, Moledive, Sharkbite, Toravolt, Windfire, and Dinoshout, after all these years. 

Zod: "It's useless. Even though you combined to form Dragotron, it makes it easier to control all of you at once!"

Cheetor: "Won't that break the Chip and kill Drago?"

Zod: "SILENCE!!!"

But, Zod's Compliance Chip timing was perfect even for him when it controlled even Dragotron too. 

Zod: "Now, Dragotron! Obliterate them all, Maximals and Cybertronians!"

This makes thing easier for Zod as he orders him to destroy Cybertron. That's when his Dragon Bracelet managed to remind him of the time he spent with Optimus Prime, Dragonus Prime's sacrifice for him, his team, his friends, his family, and even his loved ones. 

Drago: "Not a chance! I may be a Draconian who craves power, but that's not all I am! I'm an Autobot who found friends, who laughed and played and fought together with me! I'm the son of Dragonus Prime, and youngest brother of Optimus Prime! And, I'm also... the adoptive son of 2 Autobots who loved me and accepted me for who I am! I... am Dragonite Prime! And I, no, we... will move forward... till all are one!!!"

Thanks to that, Drago broke free on the Compliance Chip along with his friends and Dragotron turned into a Golden Dragon. 

Zod: "What?!"

Jaune: "A Golden... Dragon?"

Zod couldn't believe it; a Draconian who broke free of the Compliance Chip and turning Golden Dragon is something to behold, even the Maximals and Jaune couldn't believe it, the Draconian Empire too. 

Toravolt: "How dare you do this to Drago?!"

Sharkbite: "You sure took care of our dear friend, thanks for that."

Dinoshout: "Now, it's time for some full-on thrashing!"

Moledive: "Our friendship won't be beaten by the power of an empire!"

Windfire: "Then, as that idiot says, we'll keep moving forward!"

Zod: "What nonsense! DRACLOPES!!!"

Then, Dragotron decimates the Draclopes Drones and goes for Zod's ship, while the Maximals escape. 

Dragotron: "DRAGONIC KNUCKLE!!!!"

Zod: "NOOOOOO!!!!"
