A beautiful flower

Alastor and I had a "Blast" trying to find said mall, but  in the end, finally we found it and went in. The inside.... the inside was massive.
The size of all of the pride ring at LEAST.
We walked around for ages before we finally decided to ask a manager.
"Hello! Sir? May we speak to you?" I asked.
A man a little taller than Al turned with a smile. "Of course! What do you need?"
I flashed him a smile. "Were looking for someone, a girl to be exact. She... she's...." I gestured to my husband. "She looks like him, with my eyes! Do you-er have you seen her?"
The man looked at Alastor long enough he started twitching, getting very uncomfortable under the stair.
"Ah! Your talking about the little gal we just hired! Yeah! she works in fabrics!" he pointed across the mall and smiled. "Right over there."
I wrapped my arm around Al's and started pulling him away. "Thank you!"
When we got there, I was surprised by how big the section was.
And we let the search begin.
Suddenly Alastor stopped me. "Rosie."
I peeked around a shelf corner. "Hm, yeah?"
"Are you seriously humming the pink panther theme?"
I gave him a look over my shoulder. "Yes I am, got a problem with that?"

I sighed.
Work wasn't so bad, I kinda liked it to be honest.
Mom would be proud, I got a job in sewing and fabrics!
But I quickly swept that thought out of my head as I swept the floor.
Really it wasn't so bad if I didn't think about my life in hell.
If I didn't think about all the people I had left behind, all the people I loved, all the people who were my friends....
I shook my head violently, shaking my bun out of it's perch on top of my head letting the strands of white hair blind me for a moment.
I took a deep breath.
This was my life, I had to suck it up and deal with it.
Nothing was going to change.
I leaned heavily on my broom, if only I had Neo to lean on.
Or Dad.
Someone set a hand on my shoulder.
  "Hi Helen."
  "Lily, are you okay?"
I swept my hair slowly out of my face to find the older girl looking down at me with her stunning blue eyes. "No."
She pursed her lips. "Lily, it's heaven! You... you can't be sad!"
I forced a smile, like my Dad did half the time. "Yeah, you-your right."
Helen's eyes got sad and she held out her arms. "Come here."
Trying to blink back tears, I fell into her. "I'm so tired Helen."
She sighed, hugging me tighter. "I know Lily, I know."
A little begrudgingly, I wrapped my arms around her. "I want to see my family again..."
Helen seemed to freeze for a moment. "Uh, yeah. I'm sorry."
Pulling back, I looked up at her. "What?"
She smiled tightly. "Nothing! I just... just thinking."
I laughed a little and wiped my tears, wrapping my arms around myself. "Yeah, me to."
Helen crossed her arms. "Are you sure you are okay?"
I shrugged, again forcing a smile. "Yep! Just needed someone to vent to until I get Neo back tonight."
She laughed. "Yeah! Pour it all on Neo!"
I smiled a little more genuinely. "Pretty much, He's the best boyfriend anyone could ask for."
Helen giggled. "Well! Glad you think so!"
Raising an eyebrow, I gave her a look. "Oh! Does this mean you have one to?"
She wiggled her eyebrows at me. "Maybe! Maybe not!"
I leaned in slightly. "Who is it?"
Helen spun around. "NOPE! I promised him I wouldn't tell anyone!"
I groaned. "Ugh, boys! Fine."
Helen waved and started walking away. "See you later Lily, and stay happy!"
I laughed a little at her antics. "Okay, I will! Thanks!"
Sighing, I grabbed the broom.
Suddenly, I stopped when I heard music.
No... more like self produced music, not professional.
I straightened and looked around for the origin of the hummed pink panther theme.
I laughed a little when a couple walked past six isle's down, the woman crouching slightly and the man rolling his eyes, but smiling.
WAIT-
I KNEW THAT SMILE, AND EARS, AND THOSE EYES.
The broom slid out of my hands, clattering to the floor.
It couldn't- couldn't be...?
The man's ears swiveled at the sound of the broom hitting the floor and he turned to look at me.
Our eyes met, and... and It was him.
It was my Dad.
Mom's head popped back into view as she looked at me to, her smile dropping.
I broke into a run, I didn't know when I didn't know how fast, I just did.
I sprang into Dad's arms as he spun me around.
There's no way there's no way there's no way-
I felt around his face, ears, hair, it was him. I wasn't imagining it!
Finally he pulled back slightly, his eyes glancing all around my face as they filled with tears. "My beautiful flower." He whispered.
I smiled with joy and hugged him even harder.
My eyes found Mom behind him, a hand over her mouth.
I kissed Dad's cheek before scrambling over to her.
Mom crushed me even harder than Dad did and kissed my head over and over and over. "Lily! My darling!"
I relished in the sound of her voice, of their voices.
The last time I had heard them, they were filled with despair and pain, now they were filled with joy and happiness.
And we all fell to the floor in a hug.
Hugging, smiling, laughing, re-living all of our happiest memories as a family.
And not thinking about the whole month and seven days that had passed since I had seen them last.
Wait, where was my sister?
