"You want me, me Evan Morningstar and prince of Hell to get you and Miss Altruist into Heaven? Why!? God no, stop running that fast- JUST- please don't tell my mom! Uh- Sir? SIR- PLEASE?!"
Alastor was currently running down the stairs with a very distressed Evan at his heel, begging him not to tell anyone.
Al jumped to the landing and grabbed my shoulders. "Rosie! I have so much dirt on this child it is not even funny, he can get us to Heaven."
It took my brain a moment to figure out what he was saying, but I finally caught on. "What are you- ahhhh cleaver!"
I tilted my head. "What do you have on him though? How can he get to heaven?"
Alastor's grin got a little more evil as he glanced back at the boy who was slamming his head into a nearby table. "Someone is a love sick bird and apparently found a perfect suiter in Heaven, he visits her every week, no help from either of his mothers or even Lucifer himself!"
Evan banged his head into the oak surface. "I am so dead...."
I smiled. "Ahhh! So were blackmailing a prince!"
My husband let go of me and smiled. "Exactly! All we need to do now is coax him into listening!"
Smiling, I walked to the prince and grabbed his shoulders, whispering over his shoulder. "So...! I heard you have a special someone up in the shining city! What's she like?"
Evan crossed his arms and turned away, seeming to resign himself even from a cannibal. "I won't let you manipulate me."
I frowned. "Now now now! I was only asking what this wonderful girl was like."
A light blush came to his cheeks, and I knew I had already won. "I-I won't tell the likes of you a thing!"
I went slack faced and shrugged. "Oh okay, So how then are you going to explain to your mothers how the hell you even got to heaven in the first place to meet her?" My grin was full of teeth. "Unless you just want to tell me and never have to tell another soul!"
His cheeks got redder. "Oh just- just shut up! I can take the criticism of my parents! My mom practically has been trying to sell me off to any girl who even looks my way in the first place! She won't be mad that I finally found someone!"
I tapped my finger nail to my chin. "Really? Even if you have been sneaking to the very place they are fighting against? That your mother hates? That instead of just asking and getting their okays, you just went ahead and did it behind their backs?" I made a tsk tsk sound. "In any other setting you would be called a traitor."
He lowered his head in guilt.
I started pacing around him. "You have done so many things to my daughter," I picked up a glass crown up off the table. "And right now, it would be so easy for me to just-" I crushed the glass in my hand. "Crush you." I glanced over my shoulder. "And of course your lovely relationship with the little dove."
Behind Evan, I saw Alastor looking at me with a lovesick smile, until he noticed that I saw him. His eyes went wide and he flushed red and turned slightly, shaking his head and walking quickly away.
I smiled at how silly he was sometimes but got back to the task at hand. "But," I moved back to the princes side. "I would maybe be willing to... keep this little secret to myself, if of course, you did something for me."
Evan closed his eyes, grinding his jaw and most likely trying not to listen to me. "L-like I said- I-I won't-"
I grabbed his shoulders a little forcefully. "Won't what? Won't send a demon to heaven to see her own daughter? Won't deliver an evil soul to heavens gates? Won't save yourself from the scorn and humiliation of dating an angel from your mothers and the society around you?"
Evan shook his head. "N-NO! I-My mother dated an angel, married one too, she'll understand!"
I laughed and leaned right in his ear. "Oh honey, we both know she won't." I whispered. "We both know she'll forget all about that and only see you as the failure everyone knows you as..."
I leaned back in surprise when he whipped around, clamping his hands over his ears and yelling, "FINE FINE I'LL DO IT! JUST GET OUT OF MY HEAD!"
I stepped back and brushed dust off my shoulder. "Good, how soon can you get us there?"
Evan turned away and crossed his arms, looking at the floor. "Fifteen minutes, minimum."
I smiled. "Beautiful! I will go collect my Deer and you will take whatever you need and go into that bedroom over there, We will meet you there in twenty minutes, if you are not there, you will regret it, Understand?"
Evan shrank, gulping. "Y-yes ma'am."
I spun on my heel. "Good." And I walked to find my little Bambi.
I found said Bambi when I rounded a corner and smacked into him.
We both laughed for a second, blinking and shaking our heads.
"Sorry." we both said in unison.
Al grabbed my hand, kissing it. "Did you get him?"
I smiled as he pulled me closer and twirled me around. "Well, if shouting for me to get out of his head counts, yes, as a matter of fact I did."
Alastor set his chin on my shoulder. "Beautiful! Just like you."
It was my turn to turn red. "flatterer." I muttered before playfully shoving him. "But we have twenty minutes until he is ready."
Al sighed, rolling his neck around in a circle. "Would it be wise to tell Charlotte? Would it not be wise to tell her? Tell Taylor? Anyone?"
I leaned on the wall of the hallway. "I don't know, I feel like maybe... this is something that should just stay between us, Taylor is in the care of Charlie, she'll be fine, probably won't even notice we're gone."
He scratched the back of his neck. "Maybe we should at the very least leave Taylor a note? It might brake the slight trust I've built with her if we just disappear." Al turned away. "I know that seems selfish- but really I just re-built our relationship- I can't afford to loose her too..."
My shoulders fell and I hugged him. "Of course darling, its not selfish, I understand. We'll leave Taylor a note."
Alastor placed his hand over mine. "Thank you dear."
I squeezed him. "Of course! Now, I do believe that we can't go to heaven looking like this." I gestured to myself and my vary red and hellish looking clothing. "We might need some lighter colors."
My husband gave an exasperated sigh. "Alright, that makes sense."
I pursed my lips and looked innocently at the ceiling. "And maybe some facial details too."
"Oh for the love of- ugh fine." he grumbled.
Al grabbed my hand and dragged me down the hall, turning down multiple halls until we got to a room and found Vaggie, Charlie and Nina.
He casually walked to Vaggie and grabbed her chin, twisting her head multiple ways before sighing. "Why-? Fine."
Vaggie scowled. "Alastor! What are you doing?"
He smiled sweetly and let her go. "Oh nothing! Just some research."
They all watched with questioning looks as we walked back out of the room.
We reached the stairwell and Al clapped.
Suddenly, my dress started changing.
*Groans and slams head into the table* You have no idea how long it took me to find this dress, one that I could show you without having to give you a horrible description. Basically it's this with gold specks on the top half (Not the sleeves tho)
