Alastor's Pov
I paced around the living room, once, twice, three times and still nothing changed.
No other thoughts ran through my mind except that one possibility.
No better ideas, no better judgement, nothing.
I turned back to the parlors coffee table, which was currently occupied by a mountain of paper and notes that I had somehow made and collected throughout the night.
Shuffling through them, the morning sun shining in my eyes, I finally found the one paper I had been thinking about all night.

Get into Heaven...

Was all it had scribble on it in almost unreadable hand writing.
I hadn't even known who had written it, last night had been a blur of noises, faces and chaos of a general sort. So by this point, it really could have been anyone.
It's been about... four weeks since...
Anyhow, Life had become... bland.
Taylor had disappeared into the night, out of pure grief probably.
Both Rosie and I were worried, but knew she was smart enough to know how to get by.
'THE NOTE!' my brain seemed to scream at me.
I shook myself out of my thoughts and continued to study the said note.
Maybe... just maybe it was possible to get to heaven.....
"Alastor?" I heard a voice slur.
I turned and found my wife Rosie stretching out in the chair she had fallen asleep in.
"Oh, good morning darling." I said.
She yawned and rubbed the sleep out of her eyes, examining me and the pile of papers behind me. "You went to sleep... right?"
I gave a one shoulder shrug and turned back to the stack. "I didn't need any."
I could practically hear her roll her eyes as she stood and walked to kneel in front of the table and next to me. "What'd you find?"
Running my hands down my face, I sighed. "No where near as much as I wanted to, but... I..."  I looked at the floor, not really knowing what or how to say anything.
Rosie set her chin on my shoulder and started running her hand over my back. "But your not giving up."
I nodded. "I guess so."
Picking up the paper, I showed it to her. "This is all that's been stuck in my mind the entire night... I can't say I know what to do with it."
Rosie grabbed the piece of paper, looking at it closer. "I don't know who wrote it, but... do you think it's actually possible?"
I closed my eyes and breathed out a sigh. "At this point, I don't have much of a choice."
She nodded and kissed my shoulder before getting up and walking to the kitchen. "Well, did you have anything to eat?"
"Not really hungry." I told her halfheartedly.
Rosie poked her head out of the door. "Um, no. You sir, you are eating."
I smiled slightly. "Thank you dear."
She waved her hand. "Take a break Alastor, lay on the couch for a second or something."
My wife disappeared back into the kitchen and I flopped onto the carpet.
This whole thing was really ruining my sanity but like I had said, at this point I didn't have much of a choice.
Part of me told me that I should just give up, not look, not care, that it didn't matter.
But most of the rest of me told me that I needed to know what had happened to her, where she was, how she was. And that if I didn't, death was sounding like a really good option.
So I listened to the second part.
I sat up to grab the note, but laid back down after that.
Get into Heaven...
Could I really just ignore the fact that getting to heaven... might be a possibility?
Charlie had done it, Lucifer now did it on a daily basis to talk with Sera... so could it really be possible?
Could a demon be un noticed and hide in heaven long enough to find and talk to someone?
Wait- how the hell would we even get there?
My thoughts were again interrupted by Rosie re entering the room, coffee in hand.
She smiled when she saw me and set the mugs on the table, before planting a kiss on my forehead and laying down next to me. "You doing alright?"
I nodded. "I'm just thinking."
She looked at me. "About what?"
I sat up and took one of the cups of coffee off the table and looked back to Rosie. "The fact that it could actually be possible to get to Heaven."
Her midnight eyes went wide. "IT IS ISN'T IT?! HOLY-" she cut herself off when she noticed how loud she was being. "Ahem, sorry, it is actually possible."
I smiled and set the coffee down, taking her hands in mine and pulling her closer. "Do you know what that means?"
Rosie stared up at me. "That means we might have a shot at seeing Lily again."
I nodded and twirled her around. "Precisely my point! If we can get there, all we would have to do is find Lily, and we could see her again."
Rosie's smile was beautiful as she grabbed my face and kissed me. "You Al, you are a fucking genius!"
I wrapped her in a hug. "Rosie darling, we're going to see our little fawn again."
Suddenly her arms went slack and she groaned. "Alastor, we have a problem."
Pulling back I looked at her in question. "What could possibly be the matter darling?"
Rosie sighed. "Oh he's going to hate me..." she muttered. "Alastor, Lucifer is the only one who can get us there."
My smile fell.
Well, can I just say, that from the bottom of my heart...
FUCK.
