History/Quick backstory: Marlene had always been an odd kid. From a young age she had "imaginary friends" which she claimed were ghosts. As she grew up things started to change. Suddenly she was the victim of vicious bullying. Eventually she would learn to retaliate with the illusions she could weave, usually terrifying the would be bullies. She never had a good relationship with her parents, running away as soon as she could. She had a girlfriend who was tragically killed by a villain. She was lost in her grief and revenge, spiraling into a terrifying place. She became quite the notorious villain in her own right. But eventually a visit by a ghost, the ghost of her girlfriend to be exact, shocked her out of it. Suddenly she wanted to do better, to heal all the bad she had done.
