Naira sat in the garden, tears streaming down her face. The weight of her parents’ betrayal was too much to bear. Her life felt like it was crumbling around her, and the only solace she found was in her love for Kartik. That love, though unspoken, was the one thing that gave her peace amidst the chaos.

Voice: Naira.....

She turned to see Kartik standing there, tears in his eyes as well. He walked over to her, cupping her face gently. His thumbs brushed away her tears as he looked deeply into her eyes.

Kartik: I am sorry meri wajeh se-

Naira: Chup....bilkul chup...kitne bure ho tum matlab galti koi aur kare aur blame tumhe kudhpe hi lena hai sahi hai tumhara!

Kartik lowered his eyes and naira looked at him with concern.

Naira: Kartik meri taraf dekho...

Kartik looked into her eyes, and for a moment, he saw the love she held for him. The urge to confess his feelings welled up inside him.

Kartik: Naira mujhe tumse kuch-

Before he could continue, Arjun arrived, breaking the moment. Kartik quickly fell silent, stepping back as Arjun approached and hugged him.

Arjun: I am sorry Kartik mere bhai tujhe itna kuch sehna pad raha hai...

Kartik: Nahi arjun aisa nahi hai...

Arjun: Han par still mujhe acha nahi lagta...you know tu mere liye bhai se bhi badke hai

Arjun and Kartik were like brothers, though not related by blood. Naira smiled at their bond, but her heart was heavy with the sadness of her unspoken love. Kartik, too, felt the burden of his unexpressed emotions. Both were deeply in love, yet the words remained unspoken.

Will they ever find the courage to confess?

Arjun: Chalo kartik ab hum chalte hain kal ayenge....

Kartik: Hmm...(reluctantly)

He glanced at Naira one last time, but a lingering feeling gnawed at him, one he couldn't shake off—a deep, unsettling sense that he was about to lose her. It was a fear that gripped his heart, a quiet but persistent voice whispering that this moment might be the beginning of a painful goodbye.

Painful things often come our way when we least expect them, catching us off guard and leaving us reeling from the unexpected blow. They test our strength and resilience, challenging us to find hope even in the darkest moments.
