Singhania Sadan , Garden

Naira was sitting alone in the garden, lost in her thoughts. Her mind kept drifting back to Kartik and the painful conversation they had. She couldn’t shake off the feeling of despair that had settled in her heart. Just then, a cheerful voice broke through her thoughts.

Girl: Hi! I am sorry kya yeh Singhania Sadan hai?

Naira looked up to see a young girl, probably around her age, standing in front of her with a warm smile. There was something about her energy that was contagious, and Naira couldn’t help but smile back.

Naira: Hi....Han bolo?

Anjali: Wow!! Mei wedding planner hun....Naksh Singhania ne mujhe hire kiya hai Apki behan Gayu ki wedding ke liye...

Naira: Oh...Andar chali jao fir...Bhai andar honge....

Anjali: okay....

She was about to go but stopped seeing naira lost in her thoughts.
She might be cheerful but when she sees someone sad , She cant help but talk to them.

Anjali(casually): Kya hua😗

Naira (softly):main bas thodi si akeli thi....Just some things

Anjali: Akele kyun? Main hoon na, ab toh hum dono milke baithenge. Main Anjali hoon, by the way.

Naira: Naira...

Anjali: Wow kitna unique aur beautiful name hai tumhara....
I am damn sure ki tumhara koi boyfriend bhi hoga

Naira’s smile faltered for a moment, her thoughts immediately shifting to Kartik. But she quickly recovered, trying to play along.

Naira (shaking her head with a small laugh): Nahin, aisa kuch nahin hai.

Anjali (raising an eyebrow playfully): Sach mein? Phir toh tum jaise khoobsurat aur acchi ladki ke liye koi acha sa ladka dhoondhna padega.

Naira chuckled at Anjali's lightheartedness, finding herself warming up to this new friend who had brought a brief respite from her worries. Anjali’s carefree attitude was exactly what Naira needed in this moment, and as they continued to talk, Naira felt a sense of comfort and companionship that had been missing for a while.

Naira (smiling): Tumse milkar bohot acha laga, Anjali. Tumne aaj mera din bana diya.

Anjali (beaming): Toh ab se hum dono friends, okay?

Naira: Okay, friends!

The two girls began to talk, and before they knew it, they had spent hours sharing stories, laughing, and bonding over shared experiences. Anjali’s lighthearted nature brought a sense of relief to Naira, who found herself opening up more than she had with anyone in a long time.

Anjali (grinning): Tum bohot acchi ho, Naira. Pata hai, tumse milkar aisa lag raha hai jaise hum purane dost hain.

Naira (smiling): Haan, tumse milkar mujhe bhi waise hi lag raha hai. Tumne aaj mera din bana diya, Anjali.

It was the start of a beautiful friendship. Anjali’s presence in Naira’s life was like a ray of sunshine breaking through the clouds of her sorrow.
