(A/N) : Heyo! So this is part two of the fight chapter. And this starts off immediately after Hunter asks Jessica if she wants a drink.

3rd person's (PoV):

"W-What?" Jessica asked, clearly stunned by Hunter's gracious offer. "Umm...I said, would you like a drink?" Jessica hesitated before giving Hunter a small nod. "Grape Fanta, if they have some. Thanks, for the drink." Hunter gave a thumbs up before heading out. "Jerk! Get me a Coke!" Yelled out Matthew. Without Hunter, there was an awkward silence between Matthew and Jessica. "So...about the project, do you wanna build the thing? And I can write up the report?" Matthew's question snapped Jessica back to reality. "Huh? Oh, sure. Wait, do you not know how to design the prototype?" Matthew shrugged as an answer. "Depends. What is the project about?" Jessica gave Matthew an incredulous look and sighed in resignation. "He sleeps through class unless I wake him up." Hunter returns with four cans in his hands. Matthew shoots a glare but soon softens at the sight of a Coca-Cola can. Hunter then places a can of Dr. Pepper on a bedside table next to Tyler. He tossed Jessica her Fanta and Hunter cracked open his can, which happened to be Grape Fanta as well.

Hunter's PoV:

"Hunter. The Hunter. Drinking Fanta? What happened to 'Pepsi till I die'?" I frowned at Matthew's observation. "I thought I'd try it again. Why? Pisses you off? Oh wait, you're already drinking piss. It's just in a Coke Can." Jessica laughed at my retort. Suddenly, Matthew started staring at Jessica and I intently. He then looks at our cans. Then he looks up a final time and smirks. Almost instinctively, I raise an eyebrow. As a response, Matthew sets his Coca-Cola can down and makes a heart symbol with his hands. "Tell me I'm wrong." I glared at Matthew and so did Jessica. In an instant, Matthew took out his phone. Before we could react, he took a picture of the both of us. "Now what was that for?" Jessica was demanding an answer but Matthew just smirked again.

Matthew's PoV :

"So, when did you two start dating?" The laughter evident in my words as Jessica spits out her Fanta. Hunter immediately got up and passed a box of tissues to her. "You see Hunt? So gentlemanly, so quick to help. Ah, I should take more pictures of you two together." Jessica shoots daggers from her eyes at me after cleaning herself up. "We aren't dating. Why would you even think we're friends?" I mocked a thinking expression. "Let's see, he asked me to call you Jessica, he ordered Grape Fanta which he never drinks and he was so quick to help you." Hunter looked angry. "We aren't dating. And Jessica is right. We aren't friends. I was just being kind." "Tsk Tsk Tsk. Skipped past the friend zone and dived straight in? Young love these days. Always in a rush to get married." This had the desired effect and Jessica and Hunter's cheeks revealed a faint patch of red on their cheeks. "Wh-Wha? We aren't in love! And what do you mean by young love? You're the same age as us!" Spluttered Jessica. I raised my hands in defeat. "Yet my mind is far more mature than yours." Hunter got up. "Well, I'll make sure to punch you so hard your IQ will decrease." He threatened. I laughed. Is this really the same Hunter Port Ty and I saved? My, you really have bloomed. "Wait," started Jessica. "How did Tyler, Hunter and you meet?"

I smiled at Hunter. "Who's telling? Me or you?" He sighed. "Fine. Don't expect the story to be pretty though. So, if you don't know, the High School and College are down towards the library. In high school, I wasn't that popular. In fact, I was labelled as a geek by this idiot here." He nudged a thumb at me. I shrugged in response. "Needless to say, that was enough for people to start bullying me. Stealing money, defaming books among other things. The worst was from Derek. He bullied me for the fun of it. He's popular, so that didn't help my cause. He often drags me into the maintenance room and starts beating the living hell out of me. I couldn't defend myself, I didn't know how to. One day, he saw a video of me dressed as a literal clown for a birthday party and spread the videos around. I was so embarrassed I couldn't even go to school. Then, the Holy Grail arrived."

"My parents aren't rich," began Hunter. "Around this time was when I received my first phone. I found a self-defense video and started learning. Pretty soon, I was able to protect myself. But I couldn't attack. I didn't know the first thing about taking down someone. I mean, I knew how to punch and kick but that was it. A few weeks later, Derek upped the bullying by a country mile. He used knuckle dusters and he once even tied me to a pipe and used me as a literal punching bag. The next day, as this was happening, two people walked in. This idiot...and Tyler." I feigned offence but Hunter continued. "Apparently, Tyler and Matthew could fight. So they saved me. The fight wasn't that exciting. Just some punches. But after that, they took me under their wing and taught me how to attack. Proper kicks, punches and some ground rules about stances and things like that. Combined with my defense skills, I quickly became a better fighter than Tyler. He wasn't mad. Instead, he looked proud. Proud of me. Jessica. Allow me to apologise on his behalf. He's a good guy by heart but..he has a lot going on. I know what he did was wrong and he can't change that but the least he could do is apologise." As Hunter finished his story, I noticed one or two tears in Jessica's eyes. I sighed. Women. Always emotional about things like this.

"No need for that. Let me do it by myself." I looked up and saw Tyler propping himself up. "Jessica. I'm really sorry for what I did. Nothing I ever do could make up for that..horrible act I committed. Please, accept my apology." Tyler got up and bowed down to Jessica.

Jessica's PoV :

What is going on?! Tyler apologising? Did I miss something? Did Derek's knuckle dusters mess up his brain? Anyway, better not to hurt him further. "T-Tyler. Apology accepted. But if this happens again I swear, like Melina hunting the Tarnished in the Frenzied Flame ending, I will deliver you what is yours. Destined death." I tried to sound menacing but all I got were laughs from the four people. Wait. Four? I spun around. There was Danny, holding a basket. Tyler scratched the back of his head. "Thanks for accepting my apology. One other thing. Since you helped to protect Hunt's sis and mine, we would like to be friends with you. We don't mind extending it to Yasmine and Marissa as well. So, what do you say? Friends?" As Tyler stretched out his hand, I looked around and saw sincere smiles from the four of them. I took a deep breath and nodded. "Friends." I shook Tyler's hand.

That was how I became friends with The Leader, The smooth talker, The Hacker and The Boy Two Doors Down.
