"Officials are saying that a power surge is to blame for an explosion over downtown Chicago last night due to severe winds leaving thousands of residents in the dark. Electricity is expected to be restored by this evening..."
141 was currently in a bar, taking a rest and drinking a bit of alcohol to get rid of the stress and memory of what happened over at the building.
Captain John Price set two cups of alcohol on the table, one for him and another for Kate Laswell. He took a hearing of what the news reporter was filling in of what happened downtown.
"CIA shit," he says.
Laswell hummed, "Creative writing."
"I'll never tell," he says.
"AQ... Iran...", Laswell listed
"Cartels... Russians...," Price added.
"Shepherd... Shadow... they got past us."Laswell said.
"Well, they got a head start," Price says. He raised his cup towards Laswell, "To cutting heads off snakes." The two tapped their glasses together and took a sip of the alcohol.
"Lady in Red seems to be in the same line as us," Laswell says.
"She had the same enemy, different methods", Price says, Laswell nods as she agrees.
"How's your wife?" Price questioned her.
"Thankfully she's alright, I sent some people to check our home for anything that seemed off and to question the neighborhood about anything unusual that had been happening, but nothing," Laswell says while picking up her drink and sipping. "I've done some digging on what happened, on everything."
Laswell takes a picture from her jacket and sets it on the table. "Hassan wanted the last missile to hit Moscow, and something was not right. So I did some digging on why Moscow. At first, I found nothing but something came up."
She slides the picture towards Price. "This was two weeks before the mission and look who's in Moscow," Laswell says pointing at the figure in the image. It was Hassan and two AQ soldiers undercovered.
Price looked at the picture. Hassan held his hand to handshake someone, "Who is he handshaking?"
"I don't know, I've had agents analyze the photo but nothing came up, but look who's also in the image." Laswell points at another figure, it was Lady In Red standing next to the 'unknown' figure.
Price gruffs, "Lady In Red in plain sight."
"We think she and them are working together but at the moment, we have no leads to who Hassan met up with or the real identity of Lady In Red."
Price tsked and handed the photo to Laswell, who was drinking out of her drink. "Any sign of Shepherd?", Price asked.
"Totally off the grid," Laswell replied.
"Well, we'll find him," Price stated.
"No, we got bigger fish... I've also done some digging on the Russians," Laswell said.
"Well, that's a dirty job," Price jokingly said.
"Ultra-nationalists ambushed that convoy, John," Laswell said.
"Kate, this is over," Price said.
"No, it's not. They are working for someone new," Laswell argued.
"Who?" Price asked. Laswell pulled out another picture and slid it towards Price, who he immediately picked up. "We don't know his name," Laswell says to him.
"He's not new," Price stated. He then placed the picture facing down on the bar and slid it over to Gaz who was sitting next to him. Gaz picked it up and looked over it with a grim expression.
