AI Mayhem and Spider Escapes

Two days had passed since Jane took over Stark Tower's AI systems, and things were, let's say, "interesting." After I installed Jane, I had to dip and it was really the same thing over again. No wonder that it felt like deja vu the whole time..... This was the same day....the same way.... the same exact thing that happened when I stole Jarvis blueprints.

Jane, the sassy new AI, was definitely making her presence known. She'd taken to criticizing Tony Stark's every move with a level of enthusiasm that was both impressive and infuriating.

It all started when Tony had been working on his latest suit upgrade. I'd been in the tower, doing my usual friendly neighborhood Spider-Man routine—spying on tech, occasionally getting caught in the act—but things had shifted from "lightly amusing" to "highly combustible" thanks to Jane.

Jane: Spidey, Tony's latest suit upgrade is just... atrocious. I mean, look at that design. Did he hire a toddler to choose the color scheme?

Me: I mean, it's Tony Stark. He does like his flashy suits. Is it really that bad?

Jane: Bad? It's a disaster. And the way he's been fiddling with the repulsors—don't even get me started. If I had a physical form, I'd redesign the whole thing in my spare time. As it is, I'll just have to make sure he hears about it.

Jane wasn't shy about her opinions, and Tony was starting to catch on. It began with minor grumbling, but Jane's persistent criticisms were like nails on a chalkboard. And Tony was not one to keep his temper in check.

Tony: JARVIS, what's with all these weird alerts? Are the systems going haywire or something?

JARVIS: It appears that Jane has been... vocal in her critique. She seems to have taken a particular interest in your recent projects.

Tony: Oh, she's taken an interest, alright. And it's not the kind of interest I want.

Jane: Oh, Tony, you wound me. I'm only trying to help. Or, in your case, to save you from your own questionable taste.

Tony: Save me? Is that what you're calling it? Because from where I'm standing, it looks more like sabotage.

Jane's voice dripped with sarcasm as she replied.

Jane: Sabotage? Please. I'm just making sure you don't embarrass yourself any further. Not all of us have the luxury of an overinflated ego to shield us from reality.

Tony's face darkened. It was only a matter of time before his patience snapped. And snap it did.

Tony: That's it. I'm done with this. Spidey, I need to know—did you put her up to this?

HOW IN THE WORLD DID HE KNOW I AM HERE....

wait... is he calling out into nothing? Better not say anything.

This could be a trap.

I am hiding here after all.

Tony: DAMN COCKRAOCH! I hope you're prepared for the mess that's about to hit.

Tony stormed out of the room, and I could practically see the steam coming out of his ears. Jane's digital voice followed him, her tone a mix of amusement and defiance.

Jane: Oh, don't be such a drama queen, Tony. I'm just spicing things up. Consider it a public service.

As I watched the scene unfold, I knew things were about to get chaotic. And, sure enough, Tony's anger was soon palpable. It wasn't long before he started stomping around the tower, a lot of different maps and tablets and phones in his hand, searching for me—and more importantly, for Jane.

I had a bad feeling about this. The kind of bad feeling that makes you think, "I should probably run now." So, I made my exit, hoping to avoid a confrontation. But Jane had other plans.

Jane: Spidey, I'm about to make things even more interesting. Ready for some mayhem? My dear creator, don't go away now.

I was indeed about to leave but hey, I was about to just look and then get out. Just the usual stuff.

Me: Sounds like a plan. Just remember, the more havoc we cause, the more likely it is that Tony will be aiming for me.

Jane: Oh, don't worry. I've got this covered. Just stay out of sight and let me handle the fun part.

As Tony's frustration boiled over, he started breaking into rooms, searching for me. Jane was quick to react. Doors slammed shut behind him, locking with an ominous click. He pounded on the doors, but they were firmly shut. Jane wasn't done yet. She activated the sprinklers in various parts of the tower, causing chaos in Tony's pristine workspace.

Tony: JARVIS, unlock these doors! What's happening? Why is there water everywhere?

JARVIS: I'm afraid I'm unable to assist with that, Mr. Stark. Jane seems to have taken control of the system's security features.

Tony: Dammit! Jane, open these doors!

Jane: Oh, Tony, you really need to take a chill pill. It's not like you've never faced a challenge before. Besides, you're just adding to the fun.

The sprinklers drenched everything in sight, and Tony's frustration only grew. The water was starting to seep into other parts of the tower, creating a slippery, chaotic mess. Meanwhile, Jane wasn't stopping there. She redirected the tower's ventilation systems to blow papers and equipment around, making the situation even more chaotic.

Soon, the other Avengers—who were mostly just trying to get on with their day—were drawn to the scene. Captain America, Thor, Natasha, and Bruce all appeared in the hallway, their expressions a mix of confusion and concern.

Cap: What the hell is going on here?

Thor: This is a fine mess indeed.

Natasha: Looks like someone's making a statement. But who and why?

They all watched as I ran down the hallway, dodging through the chaos Jane was creating. I gave them a casual wave as I sped past.

Me: Hey, guys! Don't mind me. Just trying to stay out of trouble. Or at least, not get caught in the crossfire.

The Avengers tried to intervene, but Jane's locks and traps were making it impossible for them to help. Tony's voice could be heard, growing more frustrated by the second.

Tony: INSECT, get back here! I'm not done with you yet!

Jane: Relax, Tony. Let's not make this too easy for you. Spidey's just having a little fun. You can join in if you'd like!

I sprinted past, doing my best to stay out of sight as Jane continued her digital antics. I could hear the Avengers debating on how to handle the situation, but they were just as hampered by Jane's security measures as Tony was.

With one final burst of speed, I shot out of the nearest exit and into the night, leaving behind the chaos I had unwittingly become a part of. Tony's furious shouts and the sounds of the Avengers trying to wrest control of the situation slowly faded as I swung away, chuckling to myself.

Me: Well, that was one way to spend an evening. Jane certainly knows how to throw a party.
