Walk the plank

On what we don't understand?
Maybe a pirate
Is kind and lovely
The only thing angry
Is the sea they roam
Ahoy, matey
X marks the spot

The only thing greedy
Is their hunger for a crew
Argh, me treasure
Shiver me timbers

Is selfless and noble
The only thing self-centered
Is their basic human needs
Is being a pirate
So mean and bad?
Or is it our minds
Scared of what we don't have?
