We wear a seatbelt
because it's the law
And because it keeps us
from dying in a crash
We clean in the shower
because it's the norm
And because nobody really
wants to stink
We eat all our food
because someone said so
And because starving
is not a good look
All of these things
made with purpose
Some, however
are there just because
