They say that their bad
Memories are all too clear
But for my case
I just feel confused
I know I was scared
I know I was sad
But specifically why?
I just can't place
I know she hurt me
I know how she did
I'm just not sure
Just how it felt
Articles say it's normal
To have this problem
But I'm kinda done
With it being suppressed
I see others who forgive
Not forget, but honestly
I feel like the opposite
Because I really can't remember
If I think really hard
The vague ideas
Become fuzzy memories
But nothing farther
