Nori walked with difficulty between the rock creeks, and in his hand he held the algaria tightly, alert to any outside noise. His feet ached, his socks barely protected him from the hard ground, and turning into a wolf would not suit him given the difficulty of moving and climbing in certain places.

Heck, there must be an exit somewhere.

Several times he was on the verge of turning back and helping others, but then he became convinced that he was giving himself too much confidence in his fighting skills and would probably end up hindering the warriors themselves. He did not like the situation, and his emotions were not helping him calm down.

In that diatribe of thoughts he became distracted from his path, until to his amazement he spotted one of the cave's outward exits, for a moment believing he was dreaming about it. Daylight came overbearingly in through that opening, and hope in him revived for a few moments only to dissolve once he spotted two rougues dozing there.

He would not have been able to cope with two of them at once, and his main goal was to get the antidote out, as he could not venture into combat . He tried to hide and gradually descend from the rock in which he was lurking, careful not to make any noise, although his shrewdness was not enough; at that moment a howl echoed through the cave, not belonging to one of his companions, and inevitably waking the two rougues.
