Armin: Mikasa's right! You need to focus on recovering your strength now so you can help fight later, you're one of our best. If something goes wrong with our plan, we'll need you more than ever.

Connie stepped up, sighing as he looked at you.

Connie: Guess I'm the lucky one, huh? C'mon, hop on.

Y/N: Whatever. Just don't drop me.

You climbed on Connie's back. He tumbled back and forth for a bit.

Connie: AGH, DAMN. WHY ARE YOU SO HEAVY?! LOSE WEIGHT.

Y/N: SHUT UP! You're just struggling because you're the size of a garden gnome!

Connie stumbled slightly but quickly regained his balance, adjusting your weight on his back with a grunt.

Connie: (Muttering) Garden gnome... You're lucky I don't drop you right now.

Mikasa: We need to move. The Titans could be here any minute.

Armin: Right. Connie, take care of Y/N. We'll cover you.

Connie nodded.

Connie: Let's just hope this Titan recruitment plan works...

With that, the group set off, zipping quickly through the streets and finally reaching Headquarters.

The pain in my head was a constant reminder of how fragile our lives were. All our years of hard training could be rinsed down the drain in a few seconds, but I couldn't afford to dwell on it. Armin's plan was crazy, but it was our best shot.

This time, we weren't just surviving, we were fighting back!! And for once, it felt like me might actually win. This injury won't hold me back, I'll be on the front lines again soon, just wait and see.

YOUR POV:

The sun was setting, casting a golden glow over the streets as we made our way to HQ. It was the only beauty left in the mess of today's chaos. Connie was grumbling under his breath, shifting me on his back.  He liked to complain, but when it came down to it, he was dependable.

I tried to focus on the task ahead, but the throbbing in my head was making it tough. This injury was more annoying than anything else, like my body was reminding me that I'm not invincible. Still, I wasn't about to let it keep me from pulling my weight.
