Armin looked up at you. His eyes wide in realization. He nodded again, this time more firmly.
Y/N: Say it.
He shuddered for a bit before the words came from his mouth.
Armin: W-We all make calls... and mines got us this far.
You tightened your grip on his shoulder.
Y/N: Don't just repeat it, believe it!
He took a deep breath, forcing the words to come out with more conviction.
Armin: We all make calls... AND MINES GOT US THIS FAR!
He stood up, the energy in his voice bringing a new light to his eyes.
Armin: Yeah, I'll do it. Y/N, let's move, but... I need you to stay calm, agreed? We can't risk coming off as a threat. If they see us as anything but controlled, this could spiral out of control fast.
Y/N: Got it!
Armin: Just back me up with solid points, and together, we'll make them listen. They're more likely to understand if it's the two of us presenting a united front. Eren, Mikasa, you two stay put and don't make any sudden moves. Trust us—we've got this.
Eren and Mikasa exchanged glances, but they nodded in agreement.
Eren: Alright... but be careful, you two.
Mikasa: We'll be right here if anything goes wrong.
That's it. That's what we have to do. Sell them on the unbelievable. If we present a united front like Armin said, we stand a better chance. But damn, this is a mess. Eren and Mikasa are holding the line while Armin and I dive headfirst into this chaos.
The Garrisons are more likely to think we're a threat than take us seriously. We've got to change that, and I'm going to give it everything I've got. This is our chance to get through to them, and I'm not letting it slip by. We've got to make them listen, no matter what. Armin's counting on me, and that's what drives me right now. I really hope this works out. Everyone's counting on me, and the pressure is... a lot. But having Y/N here is a relief, even if it's a bit complicated.
