There is a famous quote - "Power over others is weakness disguised as strength," You overpower people thinking you are the strongest but the reality is something you don't want to accept. You overpower because you are scared that if you don't show your power the latter will and once they do they will find your weakness. A weakness that you have been hiding for ages.

The people who struggle beneath that power, do so sometimes because they think they are weak, sometimes it's because they think they don't have any choice, and sometimes it's just them giving up and letting the other take the lead. But the more you give the more the latter takes and one day you just wither away. So, at the end of the day, it's in your hands, decision is yours. You just have to remember another quote, "inner peace begins the moment you choose not to allow another person or event to control your emotions,"

"No," said Bright sliding the contract back towards the June and sitting back on the sofa resting his hands on the back of his head.

"No? What do you mean by no Bright?" asked June when she saw the renewal contract lying in front of her eyes without Bright's signature.

"No, I won't renew the contract with this agency, I'm done with the movie and I have no more shows, endorsements, or films incomplete for which I have to stay back, so I'm not renewing the contract and I'm going back," said Bright in one breath so that he didn't have to explain her more. Still, it was June his mother, one adamant woman, she wouldn't let go of the one man who was responsible for her lavish life that easily, would she? So, June being June, picked up the glass of water that was lying on the table and threw it on Bright.

Bright took the attack and sat calmly. He expected that, hell he expected more but just a glass of water was a scratch on him. No matter how scared he was from inside he couldn't let himself show now, not in front of her when he was about to leave everything. He bent forward, wiped his face with his palm, and stared at her removing the dark black glasses he wore to hide his scared eyes. "This was the last time, you did something like that, try one more time and I will make sure you pay for all the tortures I have gone through in past years." Said Bright and stood up to leave. He could feel his knees wobbling and he didn't know where that voice was coming from but he had already said it and now he had to make sure to get out of there as soon as possible before his knees gave up and fell weak.

"Where is that courage coming from? Huh? You know I'm the one who handles your projects and money." Said June still trying her luck and showing herself dominant. June was trying to find his eyes to instill that fear again but she couldn't see properly. She could see everything slipping, the years of hard work were slipping from her hand and she just couldn't stand there and let it slip.

"No more, not after my contract expires today and all the control of my project and my money goes to my new agency I'm going to work with, and if you think you can add that clause in that contract, go try your luck."

"What? What new agency, what contract, and when did you sign it?"

"Go find out yourself, you have connections, oh! Wait, you have internet. You should check the current news." Said Bright and turned around when his brother walked out of the room holding their luggage.

"Phi, finally, it was so difficult for me to pretend for a month and see her throwing tantrums in everything. Let's go home now." Said Nick and slid the trolly bag towards Bright.
