I let Fumiko read my conversation with Hiro. She was furious because I did not listen to her during our group discussion.
"He sounds like some player" Fumi said while she's reading my phone.
"What's with that smiley face anyway?! Stop talking to her Yumi! W-wait SHE EVEN CALLED YOU YUMI?!" Her eyebrows met as she scroll down.
"Hey, I even heard from Shun that boy has a lot of girls around her."
"Can you stop? I don't even like him! I told you I just met him by chance and he saw me crying" I told Fumi.
"Okay fine. Now, where should we eat?!" she exclaimed.
"Hey Jin, come with us!" she pulled Jin by his sleeves.
"I'm going with Shun!"
"Bye Shun! We'll be taking Jin" Shun was clueless but he waved goodbye to us.
I glanced at the door and I saw a familiar face.
"Hiro!" I saw Shun walking towards the door.
It's him.
There I saw him.
That 5'11 guy with his mullet hair.
It's him.
They both left the hallway together.
"Yumiii! Let's goooo!" Jin pulled me and Fumiko together as we left the hallway too.

"Wowwww! Barbecue! It's been a while!" Jin exclaimed. His eyes went big as he grilled every beef we had.
"Sir can we have beer please!" Fumi shouted.
"HAHA! We can finally drink!"
"I can't" I said.
"Don't be a party pooper! Come on you should drink!" Jin said.
I glared at him. "My head hurts, I can't really drink" I answered.
I just went here for the food. I also ordered egg soup. I like eating soup whenever I have headaches.
I don't know if it's placebo but it kind of eases the pain.
"Hereee have the beef" Jin placed the cooked beefs on top of our rice.
"Thank you!" I said and ate every food Jin placed on top of my rice.
It's so goooood! The flavors are popping on my tongue and it feels like my tongue is melting!
"So good!!" I said in satisfaction.
"Are you a foodie?"
My heart almost jumped out when I saw someone's face right in front of me.
It's him, that night.
"H-hey, who are you?" Fumiko slightly pushed Hiro away from me.
"Ah I'm sorry! I'm Hiro!" He said while bowing in front of us.
Fumi's eyes widened as she heard his name.
"Hiro?!" she mouthed to me.
"Hey Jin, why did you not invited us?" I saw Shun behind Hiro.
"I did earlier?! But this girl pulled me out" Jin glared at Fumiko.
"What brings you here?"
"I have my work here, Hiro just passed by" Shun answered.
"Since you work here, can I order two peach teas?" I heard Hiro said.
Peach tea?
"I haven't started my shift yet!"
"Just buy it come on so I can leave!"
I can't really look at them. I'm too embarrassed to look at him.
"Sit first Hiro" Jin said.
"Oh ok, thanks"
I did not glanced at him but I knew he sat beside me.
"So you're Hiro, what's your program?" Jin asked.
"I'm also from the same college but I'm in the specialized program for veterinary" he answered.
"Woah, vet huh? That's cool!" Jin was mostly making the atmosphere a bit cool. Thanks to him I don't have to be awkward.
"Here's the peach tea" I saw Shun placed two bottles in front of him.
"Thanks, I'll get going"
He stood up and grabbed the two bottles.
Ah finally, he will leave—
"I'm sorry Yumi, but can I talk to you?"
My eyes widened.
T-talk to me?!
What are we talking about?!
I saw Jin and Fumiko staring at me.
"U-uh... w-why?" I can't even look at him.
How can I even look at him when I knocked him out! And he did not even do anything wrong!
"It'll be just a bit, I promise" I can feel hin smiling but I'm still not looking.
I stood up slowly. "Yeah sure"
I let him go first and then I followed him. We both went outside the restaurant and went beside the vending machine beside the street.
"Here's your peach tea"
"I figured out maybe you don't want me telling people you cried in front of me, or you knocked me our using your bare hands so I invited you out" he said.
"T-thanks"
"Well, that's just it. You go inside, I have to go home" he handled me the peach tea. I finally saw his face and his neck... HIS NECK!!!
"Hahaha! Don't worry about this, it kind of hurt actually but I'll say you're pretty good at knocking people out" He said while hiding his neck.
I feel so baaaaad! ><
"That way I'm a bit relieved because you're strong enough to protect yourself."
What does he mean?
"I'll get going. Enjoy eating!"
he smiled before he walked away.
That smile.... He looks so kind when he smile!
"T-take care!" I don't know if he heard me.
I went inside the restaurant and I saw Jin and Fumiko looking at me.
"What did you two talked about?!" Fumi asked.
"It's about me crying, and he gave me this" I said.
"I heard things about him but I think he's a nice guy" Jin said.
"What things?" Fumi asked.
"Like there a lot of girls around him, but I don't think he's playing with them. The girls are just crowding around him a lot because they said he has this kind vibe that the girls like. I don't know, and oh he has like three girls that he's always with. But I heard that they are his high school friends" Jin explained.
"If you ever got close with that man Yumi, just be careful. I don't like boys who are too close with girls" she said.
"I don't think we'll be close"
After that we all filled our stomachs with every food that we have on the table.
Stress-eating is one of my hobbies.
