I just got home from walking Ayumi to her house.
It's been a while since I heard that name.

The last time I was playing was when I have to stay up all night because Ayumi hugged me.
I'm pretty good at gaming if you ask. It's what I did after I broke up with my last relationship.
To think of it, I was so wasted during those times that's why I kind of got addicted to gaming.
People were scared of me too during that time because of my eyebags. I usually don't sleep for 2 days because of gaming and then sleep for 3 days after that. Then repeat the cycle.
I guess that's one of the reason why my parents pushed me to learn how to be an independent person.
I'm grateful they did that to me because my gaming addiction got less and less all through these years.
"Emi, thank you for hanging out with me yesterday. I had fun" I smiled at her.
"Yeah... no problem" she said.
"Do you want to have lunch with me later?" I saw her bento box so I invited her to eat with me.
"No, actually I'm eating with Jun and his friends later"
Jun? Is that her classmate?
"Oh, okay. I guess I'll just walk you home later—"
"No, Hiro. Just stop" I was fazed when she looked at me.
"W-why..."
Is she...
"I'm sorry, I'm not feeling well Hiro. I'll see you later"
How could I be so foolish. How could I not realize those things. That she was just playing with me.
Ugh, this is the worst. Why would I remember something like that.
I should walk and get some fresh air.
I took my coat and went outside. It's already night time and the air cold. Perfect for thinking.
I went to the playground right in front of the apartment so I could go swinging.
No one's around so it's even better. I prefer being alone rather to having company.

I got a message so I checked my phone. It's from Ayumi!
[meMessage]
Ayumi: y are you outside
I looked around and immediately saw a light coming from the children's slide.
I tiptoed towards the light so I could scare her.
"Boo!" But no one was there.

"AAAAHHHHHH—"
"Bleh!"
"AAAHHHHHHHHHH- Ayumi..."
She's good at teasing me I swear!!!!
She suddenly came up behind the slide. I almost got a heart attack.
"Hahahaha! Hiro! You always shout whenever you're scared!" she keeps on laughing at me.
She sat inside the slide and she is still laughing. This woman.
"You're really happy huh"
"Yeah I am... You're so funny Hiro"
She was wiping her face and her eyes from laughing.
I sat beside her. "Why are you here?" I asked her.
"Nothing, I just stopped by..." she said while eating her popsicle.
"We just saw each other earlier, did you miss me that fast?" I teased her
"W-what are you saying?!" she turned his head away.
"I'm just joking" I told her. She's still not facing me.
"I did not know you play games, and you're good at it" she said.
"Yeah I just play to relieve my stress sometimes" I answered.
"Can we play too?... You know if you have time—"
"S-sure..."
Why did I answered quickly... That was so weird ><
"O-okay... Sure... W-when can we play?"
"Do you want to play on the weekend?"
"Wait, how about our date?" she said.
Our date?
Oh. Right. I asked her earlier! How could I forget it!
"I mean! You asked me a while ago! S-so I thought it was a date—"
"It is a date! Do you want to play at my place after our date?"
This is so awkward... Was it always embarrassing to ask dates like this?!
"Yes"
We were both silenced after that.
"Okay, I'll go home." She stood up and threw her popsicle stick onto the garbage bin.
"Already?"
"Yeah, why? You want me to stay?"
"It's already night you should go home" She pouted.
"Okay, I'll really go now!" she slowly stepped away from me.
"I'll go with you!"
