"Oh shit," Dean said breathlessly as he was stuffing popcorn into his mouth. He was watching Annabelle, otherwise known as the scariest doll movie ever. It may have been the middle of the day, but it was still almost pitch black in the Winchester's living room. All of the shades were shut tight and all of the lights were off. The room was eerily quiet. All that was heard was the intense music of the horror movie and Dean's very loud munching. He knew there was a jump scare bound to happen, he had that twisted feeling in his gut.

He didn't usually watch scary movies because he could always guess how it would end, but he would watch one out of curiosity every once in a while, just to see if it could actually startle him at the least. Most of the time, Dean just sat there the whole time, bored out of his mind. It takes a lot for a horror movie to get him like this.

Dean's eyes were wide, he was literally on the edge of his seat. Right as soon as Dean was sure something was about to scare the living hell out of him, his phone rang. He jumped up almost a foot in the air and screamed, knocking over the big bowl of popcorn in the process.

"Fuck!" Dean cursed under his breath, picking up the kernels out of the floor. He put all of them back into the bowl then sat it on the kitchen counter. He took his phone out of his pocket and saw the message from Cas. He jumped and pounded his fist into the air and hopped over the side of the couch, landing with a thud. Dean was now smiling like an idiot, he wasn't even paying attention to the movie anymore. After he finally calmed down, he went to his room and grabbed his shoes and keys. On his way back, he stopped at Sam's room.

"Aye, Sammy! I'm going out, I'll be back later," he said while pounding on the door. Sam opened the door groggily, rubbing his eyes and patting down his hair, looking confused and pissed. He looked Dean up and down and realized something. Slowly, a grin started to form on his face.

"You're going to see your boyfriend?" he chuckled, raising his eyebrow and crossing his arms over his chest. Embarrassment crept up Dean's face as he turned away from Sam.

"Actually, yes. I'm going to pick him up. If mom and dad ask, tell them I went out with a new friend or something," Dean said, giving Sam his best (and ever working) pleading puppy dog eyes. Sam considered it, then nodded and closed his door.

-Dean-

I'm on my way! ;)

Dean hopped into the Impala and turned the radio all the way up, blasting the classic rock music as he made his way along the route to Cas' house.

Cas stared out of the window, waiting for Dean to arrive. Once he had gotten the text from Dean, he immediately got ready.

"Anna!" Cas called from his seat on the window pane. Anna walked in and her eyes lit up.

"Aw, Cas! You look amazing. I'm guessing you're off to see your boy toy?" Anna asked Castiel with a contagious smile. He simply nodded back at her with a warm, small smile and looked down at the trench coat.

"Are you sure it isn't too much? I mean, I have no clue where he's taking me, but I don't want to be under dressed. I also don't want to be over dressed," Cas babbled, fidgeting with his pampered curls. Anna grabbed his shoulders and gave them a few shakes.

"Dude, you'll be fine. You look great. He'll love it. Chill out," She said with a reassuring smile. She took her hands off his shoulders and walked off to the living room, leaving Cas standing alone by the window.

Cas was so anxious, he looked down at his slightly shaking hands and slouched onto the window pane. He couldn't seem to calm himself down. Cas always thought about the worst things happening. No matter what it was, Cas could never seem to find the happiness in situations. He couldn't really help himself, the bad thoughts always took over.
