"Get the hell out of my car, you good for nothing little bitch!" screamed Cas' drunk father, Chuck. Castiel flinched, afraid that his father was going to swing at him again like he had the previous morning, also because his father's breath smelled strongly of liquor and cigarettes. This time it was because Castiel got up late and nearly made himself and his sister late for school. Yesterday it was because he had accidentally spilled a glass of water. His dad could turn anything he did into something to hit him over. Cas could do as little as blink and his dad would still smack him or scold him.

"I-I'm sorry Dad, I didn't mean to upset you," really anything that Cas said would set his dad off like a bottle rocket, so he had to be very choosy with his words. It took every ounce of his self control not to yell back at him, but he knew better. His little sister, Anna, was crying in the backseat. She was only 13 and she had to deal with their father like this. He couldn't take seeing his sister like that. He was so close to at least telling him off, it would just make it worse for the both of them. Cas had no one to turn to keep his little sister and himself safe. It was him and his sister against the world.

"Shut up, fucking cry baby. Castiel! I told you to get out of the god damn car!" His dad roared as he pushed Castiel while Cas was opening the door and he fell out of the car and straight onto the pavement. Cas got up as his dad sped off and dusted off his pants and noticed that his arm was scraped to hell. He really hated his father. It really pissed him off how badly he treated his children and basically everyone else. He looked around to make sure nobody had noticed, no one had; which relieved Cas, but also hurt him.

Of course no one noticed, idiot, it's not like anyone cares about you. Cas thought to himself. School was better than home, but not by much. He got pushed around at school and was called many things, like loser. Cas picked up his bag and headed for the school doors. As soon as he stepped foot into the building, someone knocked into his hurt arm. It was Crowley.

"Oh sorry, I really didn't see you there, faggot," Crowley sarcastically smirked at him, then pushed him into a locker.

Fucking dick. Cas thought as he caught his balance and tried to step past the bully.

"Where do you think you're going, loser?" Crowley said cutting off Cas' path. "You need your daily hits, Novak." the bully said with his fist only inches away from Cas' face, trying to get him to flinch. Castiel was so used to getting beat up, it didn't even phase him when someone would try to hit him. He would just sit there and take it. He was only a skinny, gay (and out) Junior that no one really ever noticed, except for Crowley and his little pack of jock assholes, which really made things worse. So basically, he couldn't do anything about it. Plus, he's a straight A student with nothing too negative on his record, he was heading straight for a scholarship and he didn't want to ruin that by fighting back.

Crowley hit Cas right in the nose, then in the stomach and Cas doubled over. "That's better. Next time watch where you're going in the hallway," Crowley spat at him with an evil grin on his face. He walked over to his to his friends, Balthazar and Alastair, they were giving him high-fives and laughing their asses off, like the jerks they were. Of corse they thought it was funny, they really didn't care about anyone but themselves.

Cas got up and went to the bathroom and cleaned up his face. His nose was pouring blood and his stomach was sore. Goddamn asshole, Cas thought as he was wiping the blood off of his face and pinching the bridge of his nose to try and prevent the bleeding. Which didn't work very well, his nose was still gushing blood.

"Fuck it!" Cas said as he gave up, at this point he was about to be late for class and he really didn't want to hear his teacher bitch at him for being tardy again. His nose was still bleeding but he really didn't care anymore.

He got into his first period classroom, English with Mr. Metatron, a couple minutes before the bell, which suprised him. He sat down at his usual seat in the very back and got his things out. Just a few seconds before the bell, a boy stumbled in and looked straight at Castiel and smiled.

*Cas' P.O.V.*

Oh fuck, he's looking at me... shit, shit, shit. I look like a fucking beat down homeless puppy and this hot guy was looking right at me. He saw the open seat right next to me and slid into it. The new boy turned to me and started to size me up. I bet he was thinking something along the lines of "Damn, that boy looks homely." Then, he looked up at me. Holy shit, he was fucking flawless; beautiful green eyes, perfect plumb pink lips, and a breath taking smile. I looked away, I couldn't let him see me, not like this at least.

"Hey," the stranger said with a very deep, husky voice and a bright smile.

"Um, hi," I said with a sheepish smile, trying to avoid eye contact. He was way too hot to be talking to me, way, way too hot. He was probably new, why would he want to ruin his chance in actually getting friends by talking to me?

"I'm Dean Winchester," Dean said with his sexy deep voice, "What's your name?"

"Castiel Novak," I said in an very quiet, shaky voice. If you would've ever met him, that's the kind of impact he would have on you.

"Unique, I like it. You don't have to be afraid to look at me, I don't bite...Well, unless you want me to," he said smirking and trying to catch my eyes. I quietly laughed, wow he really knows how to get you going. Usually, I wouldn't even bother talking to someone, but he seemed different. So vibrant and beautiful, kinda like an angel.
