N A S H G R I E R

Right now it's my last period for the day and I can't focus. My mind kept racing back to this morning when that jock talked to me.

I think his name is Cameron Dallas. He's captain of the basket ball team so it's hard not to know it.

The most surprising thing is that he checked if I was okay. I was expecting him to shove me against the locker. His friends do it all the time.

I hadn't notice the last bell ringed until the teacher asked me if I was fine. I gave her a reassuring smile and made my way to my locker.

Once I got there I put all my books on the correct shelves and stuck my binder in my backpack. Grabbing my coat and phone then shutting my locker. I rarely have homework. When you don't do much speaking you have a lot of time on your hands to get stuff done.

Ready to get home I started to jog to my car. I was literally 17 steps away until I heard my name being called.

I turned and look but I didn't see JJ, he is the only person that actually calls me by my name. Usually others call me "mute-geek," or "silent boy."

My name gets called again. I look left and see Cameron, the boy I ran into this morning. He has been in my head all day.

Cameron waved me over with a big smile. But his friends didn't look to happy about it, at least Taylor didn't, he sent me a big glare. JG has been nicer towards me since him and Jack establish some sort of friendship.

I really didn't want to go over there, so I just sent Cameron a smile and got into my car.

What surprised me was that Cameron told his friends he was going to catch them later and started jogging to me.

"Wait Nash, wait!" He caught me right when I was about to pull off.

He came up to the driver side window and squatted down so we were eye level. "Hey, I know your name," he winks.

I raised my eyebrows. How would he know my name. Only a small amount of people do, so how could have he possibly found out?

"My friend Aaron Carpenter told me, he said he was friends with your little brother Hayes," he explains. Of course, Hayes always finds a way to ruin something.

"Anyway I was wondering if you wanted to hang out sometime."

Why is he asking to hang out with me? Why is the biggest freak in the school is getting asked to hang out with the most liked guy in school? Hahahaha this must be a dream.

I pointed to myself to double check if Cameron was taking to me. He rolled his eyes. "Yes you, silly." I smiled while nodded my head yes.

"How does Thursday sound, or are you busy, we could al-" I interrupt him by shaking my head rapidly.

I big grin takes over his face. "Meet me here after school Thursday, don't mind driving I'll give you a ride home after we hang." He backs up so I can drive off. "See you later," he yells.

-----

When I got home the only car in the drive way was Will's. I didn't know he was home from college.

Will is probably the only family member that doesn't pressure me to talk.

As I walk in the house I found Hayes and Will watching football on the coach.

"Nash looks who's home," Hayes screeches. God he so annoying.

"Hey little bro, how've you been," Will says as he hugs me. I gave him a thumbs up, signaling that I've been good.

My eyebrows knit together as I realize my parents aren't home. They're always home when Will is.

"Oh mom and dad went on a business trip for a week and took Sky to gramma's. Will's here to babysit us," Hayes rolled his eyes acting as if I already knew, which I obviously didn't.

I just nodded and made my way to my room. Ready to watch the Vampire Diaries since I finished Pretty Little Lairs.

Once I got settled I saw I had a text from JJ.

Jack: I'm picking you up in 10, we're going to the movies. (Jack invited us)

Groaning loudly I put on my shoes and grab my wallet. Someone always got to ruin my plans.

Before I head out, I tell Will I'll be gone for a couple of hours by leaving I note. Since him and my little brother suddenly disappeared.

JJ wasn't here yet so I decided to go to the bathroom. Even though I really don't want to see a movie, I don't want my bladder to ruin it.

As I'm washing my hands I heard a honk. I run outside seeing JJ in his red Toyota.

"Sup dude," he lamely greeted.

I huffed and crossed my arms, ignoring his fist bump. He cant,"sup dude," me after dragging me to this 'hang out sesh' I don't want to go to.

"Hey don't be that way, this is the first time Jack asked me to hang, please don't ruin it with your attitude."

I just looked out the window disregarding what ever he said.

As we entered the theater I saw Jack G and Taylor standing in the snack line, with their backs toward us.

I stopped JJ and punched him in the arm. I heard an 'oww' but I didn't care. I pointed to Taylor with an angry expression.

As I said before Taylor doesn't like me, even pushes me around a little. Why would Jack bring me to the movies knowing he would be here.

"Oops," is all my devil bestfriend said.

As we approached the two JJ called out their names. "Oh hey Johnson, Nash." Gilinsky greeted.

I waved a little not really comfortable with the situation.

Taylor was just looking off somewhere, not really paying attention.

As we sat in our seats Jack went first into the row, then JJ, then myself, lastly Taylor.

Right as the commercials started JJ suddenly stood up. "Fuck! I forgot to buy popcorn, I'll be back."

"I'll go with," Jack added.

Alone with Taylor, great! A couple minutes pasted before Taylor broke the awkward silence, it's not like I could anyways.

"Your not hanging out with Cameron on Thursday," he said. I had to look at him again to make sure he was taking to me. "I know what happened that night and why you stopped talking. I will happily tell everyone what happened if you don't leave Cameron alone." Taylor threatened.

I glared at him shaking my head no. "Don't test me Grier or there will be consequences."

A/N: Hello, sorry to leave you hanging, but the chapter had to end right there. Anyways what do you think happened "that night" what even is "that night." Ahhahah you'll find out soon. Thanks for reading Comment & Vote.
