This story is not connected to Out of The Shadows. This is a Texas x Moscow book and Moscow is 2 years older than Texas. Texas and Moscow's Dad's hate each other, Texas's dad is America and Moscow's father is Russia. Texas is the 4th youngest out of 51 states and Moscow has a younger brother, St Petersburg. Moscow is 19 and moved away from her father as soon as she could and when she came out as Lesbian to him, it took him a long time to accept it and he still doesn't support LGBTQA+ but is slowly coming to terms with fact that it's not a faze. Texas had a relatively good upbringing aside from being r*ped in an alleyway by Third Reich at 14 and her dad, America and the other states and DC were there for her every step of the way to recovery.
The Countries and organizations were told about the states and DC after Texas was R*ped in an alleyway and was having a hard time recovering from the trauma. Moscow and Texas met by accidently bumping into each other wal running. Moscow went low contact with her father 6 months after she moved out.
Moscow (19): went low contact with her father and visits St Petersburg on holidays. St Petersburg is 6 years old and is the favorite child. Moscow likes drawing and art, which is something that brought her and Texas together.
Texas (17): nobody knew that she was Lesbian and since nobody knew Texas's relationship or that she was lesbian, she was very careful about we she goes out to see Moscow. Texas used to have severe PTSD from we she was R*ped in an alley by Third Reich at 14 and used to have nightmares about, she still has nightmares about it every now and then but has gotten a lot better at controlling her PTSD. Texas wears a star shaped eyepatch because she doesn't really like the way her eyes look together or that's what she tells everyone.
America / USA / Ame / Meri: Is a single father to 51 children and would move heaven and earth to keep them safe. Originally told Poland about the states and DC in hope that he would be able to help Texas with her PTSD because they both have trauma that's associated with Third Reich. Poland has a hard time keeping secrets and ended up telling the other countries and the organizations about the states and DC. America tries to the best father he can and the states and DC refuse to make it easy for him. All the states and DC live with him.
