The renewed Sanctuary has an entire floor devoted to research and development, which is great for when you need to experiment and play with potions, I guess.

Nazeera starts explaining her concerns about the matchboxes to the head researcher here, instructing what she needs them to test for.

I don't think its that serious, like a threat.
If it is, then whoever did it needs a lesson on scaring people. No one's afraid of a few sticks.
Warner could probably help them with that.

Finally Nazeera turns to me again. You wouldn't be able to tell there was anything wrong with her, but I know her well enough to know that she isn't doing good.
She's biting the inside of her cheek, her head is held slightly higher than usual. Huh.

I interlace our fingers,
"Don't be so freaked out. I'm telling you, it's nothing that big."

Her lips curve up by a tiny degree, and she leans her body against mine.
"Like the time you told me you could dunk a basketball?"

"No, that wasn't fair, the hoop was wonky."

Nazeera chuckles quietly, lifts her head to look at me. I can't really read her expression right now, however she is clearly thinking about something.

I tap the tip of her nose, "boop."
And the beautiful smile is back.
"I'm going to go check some security footage. And check in on Asia."

I nod, tucking back a strand of her hair. There's things I need to do so at least I have something to keep me busy. Nazeera is about to stalk off, were it not for me still having a grip on her arm.

"I love you." I kiss her on the forehead, watch her face light up. She quickly presses her lips to mine and tries to walk away again.
I yank her arm back and she furrows her brows.

"What?"

"I didn't hear anything."

Nazeera sighs, "I share the sentiment, you already know that."

This time I pout, watch her roll her eyes. She huffs.
"Okay fine. I love you, Kishimoto. Now go away."

She shoo's me away with her hands and I hurriedly kiss her again, before Nazeera waltzes off with a smile.

I hate reports. They are the most boring and unnecessary things alive. Okay, well they're not unnecessary - but they suck. Juliette needs them done as soon as possible though so I can't just quit.

I'm sitting here, in my office because I have one of those now too. It's so cool, like I have a professional space to do whatever. Although it does get lonely and boring sometimes, so whenever I have to do tons of work, I tend to go sit with Naz in her office.

I'm done nearly all of it, so I direct my attention to another extremely important matter. I have a list of a few jewelers to go see, and have to make a call or two. Unquestionably, I need to get my perfect woman the perfect ring.
And I'm arranging the when and where. It's happening so soon and it has to be amazing.
The best.
Show Warner how to really propose to a girl.

A knock sounds at my door and I say, "come in."
I love saying that, it's so professional and serious since I'm saying it in my office.

Castle walks in and I'm smiling, getting up to greet him.
"Hey sir."

"Kenji." He nods, matching my expression. Castle still works around here, and we're still as good as always. I try seeing him as often as I can. He's one of the people I refuse to drift away from.
