Nazeera and I are in the tech lab, scavenging for any useful supplies. I'm not really sure what to expect but my fiancé is a genius so I think we'll be fine. Nazeera looks like she knows exactly what to bring, she's almost filled her entire pack.

I rest my chin on my hand, watching Nazeera slip a gun into her waistband. She ties up her shiny straight hair and gives me a look.

"What are you doing? Are you ready?" She walks closer and searches through my small pack that we each have for helpful tools. It's more like a little pouch backpack thing.

A strand of her hair is already loose and I play with it when she pulls out the small bag of chips.
"Really?" Nazeera sighs and I grin.

"You said bring essentials. And it's literally one of those small sized packets to save space."

My fiancé shoves it back in with a shake of her head. Nazeera zips the pack again and just pauses. Stands there staring at her hands as they stay on my chest. She's thinking about something - more worrying actually, I can see the tension flying around in her eyes.

Because the metals are in that area, we'll most likely see the rest of the machines. If there's more than one. And we'll find out what the hell has been happening for the past few weeks.

So close though I don't care anymore. I just want this mission to be over so we can go home. So Nazeera will be more comfortable again.
Nazeera exhales a breath and steps back.

We head to the tarmac. Evening is approaching which is a better time for sneaking into unknown territory.

The new moon towers above us, useless in illuminating our surroundings. Gray clouds conceal the glow of the stars and I have to squeeze onto Nazeeras hand to make sure she's there.

Haider, Warner and Juliette sit on the jet waiting. They'll be parked out nearby in case there's an emergency or we need an unexpected escape. I plop down on my chair and Naz comes to sit beside me.

The jet takes off and Haider brings up the hologram again. Altogether, this area is a few acres large and the surrounding terrain is a field. So we'll probably be infiltrating a single compound. Nazeera and I both have invisibility, making sneaking around easier.

The plan is to go in there, map out the layout, find the machine and see if we can catch the culprit's identity. With this information, Haider can work out the best way to storm the place and kill the psychos.

The ride is about 2 hours. Haider saunters into the cockpit to speak to the pilot. I sigh.

"Look at this. The four of us, on a mission again. Deja vu." I make lazy hand gestures towards us all with my right hand. The left is massaging Nazeera's arm.
"Crashing planes, shooting bad guys. Memories right?"

"I actually didn't have a good time being kidnapped and brainwashed." Juliette comments.

"This isn't about you J. It's about me, saving all your asses."

Warner scoffs and I raise an eyebrow.
"Dude I did everything. All you did was complain about how tired you were."

"You do realize you are not fooling anyone." Warner mutters.
"Kishimoto, you insisted on using the bathroom while we were in the middle of a mission."

"I'm sorry that I have needs."

"What you need is common sense."

"Shut up. You need insoles in your shoes to make you taller."

"Guys..." Juliette sighs, rubbing her forehead.

Warner rolls his eyes at me and looks at the girl in my arms. Nazeera has been quietly sitting here with her body nestled onto mine the whole time - she's not in the mood to talk.
