Chapter 29 - POVs

Mao POV

Well, THAT'S a disaster. What passed on her mind? Why did she made so much mistakes while dancing?

After her solo, I saw her running to the toilets, and I prefered to let her rest. Lately, we didn't talk a lot because I decided to move away from her... I needed that, because our friendship wasn't working.

Like, because of it, I most of the time ended up crying. She doesn't know about that, I didn't want her to feel too much guilty...

But when I decided that, I didn't mean to BREAK the links. And that's litteraly what she's doing righ now. Well, that's her decision after all.

Whatever. After the show, when I left, I waved at her because I didn't want to be cold with her... But it seems like she didn't see me... Am I cursed?

Ash POV

I forced all Shade's members to come to Leni's performance. Like this, we could all meet eachother and create a small circle of dancers with a good mood. Isa was a bit embarrassed to come. Nash found a hole in his busy agenda to come, Halia was okay from the beginning. And Soyoung and Asha were curious to see how a WINGS performance could look like.

After practicing, we take the tramway all together, and sit in advance in the empty room :

"Asha : It starts at what time ?
Me : 8:30
Asha : Why did we come so early ?? It's 8:17 !
Me : To have good places.
Soyoung : WINGS isn't even starting, there are two groups before them.
Me : I know, why ? You wanted to come just for WINGS ?? You're not curious about the other dance teams ??
Nash : Of course we are !! Stop complaining, girls !! Look, we'll be able to judge each one of them hihi
Isa : Leni invited you ?
Me : No, she just told me she was performing today soooo, I decided I was welcomed.
Halia : shut up, it's starting"

The lights turn off. I wish Shade was invited to the room of the dance too. But, guess we don't all have the same chances...

It's WINGS' turn...

Leni ? What's happening to Leni ?? She doesn't seem like the type of girls to lose all of her abilities and confidence because of a crowd ! I mean, I don't think so. Damn, I can see her shaking from where I am. She's completely lost. I wish.. I wish I could help her, but.. well, obviously I can't :

"Asha : What's going on with your bestie, Ash ?
Me : Damn, shut up"

Asha and Soyoung laugh. How can they be so mean ? Leni is clearly not going well, maybe she started training at 3 AM once again ! Rah, tell me it's not that, dang. I try to encourage her, and Halia follows me in my encouragements. Even Nash and Isa are encouraging everyone. Soyoung and Asha are just singing from times to times when they know the songs. Leni seems to notice us ! It's the middle of her duo with Mao.

She starts gaining confidence ! Finally. Even if.. It seems like Mao and her are doing a completely different choreography.. I saw them training ! It was almost perfect. Oh, Mao leaves the stage. I guess it's Leni's solo. I've never saw her training her solo. Wait, she's getting on the floor to start ? Well I guess it's not a Siren coded song. More her KISS OF LIFE and stuff dances I guess. Reminds me that she dared me to learn Taxi Blurr ! I'll gain home-made cookies if I do.. It's starting. ...Her attitude.. We reached a totally different level :

"Me : Dang..... She's sexy"

AHHH AND HALIA WAS FILMING. I JUST HAVE TO HOPE WE'RE NOT HEARING ME IN THE VIDEO. I'M SO ASHAMED. Ash-amed lmao- I have pity of my shitty humor.. But that's a play on words Leni would do. Oh ? She's noticing someone in the crowd. Who's that ?? Is it that guy, Clay..??

Clay POV

Sooo I decided to call Lucas and her family, because I know damn well Alena would never tell her family about her events. We all sit in the front rank :

"Alena's mom : Thanks for telling us, Clay. We're gonna surprise her ! I bet she's gonna be happy."

At least, I am happy, it's the first time I see her dancing !

Is she always so lost in her moves ?? She seems to have so much confidence when talking, I'm confused ! She still looks good, of course, but..

Hold on, it seems like she's changing a bit, her steps are much more clean.

Oh she has a solo ?? Wow, I hope her parents are used to her dance style. Because I am not. Damn, don't look at me like that Alena. You're 16 years old, I am 23, don't let any weird thoughts come in my head ! It's not my fault, it's yours. You're the one choosing those dances, and... I'm a man..

Asha POV

Ash sends a message on the group ! Are we gonna practice soon ??

Wait. What ?

"Ash : Hey guys, y'all remember Leni from WINGS ? wellll it's not 'Leni from WINGS' anymore, it's just 'Leni'. So i wanted to tell you that she's gonna (try to) join Shade !! She of course has to do an audition like everyone. Anyway, see you"

WHAT THE FUCK ??? AM I CURSED..??? WHEN I THOUGHT ABOUT LENI COMING IN SHADE, I WAS LIKE, OH BUT IT'S ALRIGHT, IT'S TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE, ASH SAID WE WEREN'T OPENING AUDITIONS ANYMORE. TO. ANY. ONE.

Apparently she's an exception... I guess -or hope- it's because of Isa. Isa.. told Soyoung and me that she spoke about Ash to Mao. She told Mao about his hummm romantic experiences. That he cheated on his past girlfriends. That he was aware of girls liking him and he loved that. Well.. I told Ash. Ash was extremely mad. He told Isa she was hypocritical and mean. They were friends for 10 years !! All of that, gone because of a girl from WINGS. I think WINGS is the real cursed thing. The members we met only brought bad things to us. Why does Ash want to have a girl who messes up everything in the crew ?? Is he blind ??
