Chapter 24: Safe and sound

I wake up in the Quinjet and notice we are landing. Natasha was sitting next to me with a worried expression "Dani, oh my god." she pulls me into a hug and smiles. "W-what?" I ask her confused.

Olivia notices that I am awake and explains "The Maximoffs knocked us down with their powers and the team was worried about you, because you were out the longest." I nod.

The jet lands and I realize that we are at Clint's house. As we get out Thor asks "What is this place?" "A safe house?" Tony asks. Tessa smiles "Let's hope."

"Honey, I'm home." Clint says. Laura walks to us and I smile at my ex-SHEILD partner. "Hi. Company. Sorry I didn't call ahead." Clint says.

"Hey." Laura replies and kisses Clint. "This is an agent of some kind." Tony says. "Ladies and Gentleman, this is Laura." Clint says. "I know all your names." Laura says. "Ooh, incoming." Clint says as Cooper, Lila and Alexandria run in. "Dad!" Lila says and Clint picks up Lila. "Hi, sweetheart!" Clint kisses Cooper's head.",Hey, buddy! How you guys doing? Ooh..." Clint says. Alex then goes to her older sister and Tessa picks her up. "Tess!" Alex says happily.

I hear Aurora mumble "Δεν ήξερα ότι είχε αδέρφια.(I didn't know she had siblings.)" In Greek aka one of the languages I speak. "These are...smaller agents." Tony says. "You can say that again." Serena says.

"Look at your face! Oh, my goodness!" Clint exclaims and him and Tessa put the little Bartons down. "Did you bring Auntie Nat and Auntie Dani?" Alex and Lila ask. "Why don't you hug them and find out?" Natasha and I say with a smile as Nat picks up Lila and I pick up Alex.

"Sorry for barging in on you." Steve says. "Yeah, we would have called ahead, but we were busy having no idea that you existed." Tony says.

"Yeah, well Fury helped me set this up when I joined. He kept it off SHIELD's files, I'd like to keep it that way. I figure it's a good place to lay low." Clint explains.

"Honey. Ah, I missed you." Laura says to Natasha. "How's little Natasha, huh?" Natasha asks touching Laura's stomach. We had a bet. Nat thought she was going to be a girl and I knew that it was going to be a Nathaniel.

"She's...Nathaniel." Laura replies and I smirk. Tash bends over and speaks to Laura's stomach "Traitor." she says and I start snickering. Natty glares at me and I say "Ты должен мне 20 долларов.(You owe me 20 dollars.)" She takes a deep breath "Мы собираемся поговорить позже.(We're going to have a talk later.)" she says and I know that she means about what we both just saw from Wanda, Lillian and Hazel's powers as well as a lot of other things I had going on in my head.

"Thor." Steve says. "I saw something in that dream. I need answers, I won't find them here." Thor says and leaves. We then all go do our own thing.

I go into my room(yes I have a room in Clint's house) thinking about everything. How my best friends are alive and sided with a killer robot, how said killer robot wants to brainwash me, how my adopted little sister(I read her mind of course) and my adopted father created the killer robot, as well as what I saw in the nightmare thing: Bucky and Lizzy.

I am worried about Bucky, because I don't know where the hell he is or if HYDRA got him again. Lizzy is still with HYDRA... manipulated into being HYDRA's stupid backup Winter Soldier.

That's when I hear a knock on the door. "Come in." I answer quietly to see not only Natasha, but Oli as well. I sigh softly. "So I'm guessing this is the part where I vent to you guys about the shit one of my best friends put in my head." I say and they nod.

I sigh softly "It's James and Elizabeth." Both of their faces go pale and I start to cry. I don't know why, but I do. "I-I miss them...." Natasha quietly hugs me and Olivia puts a hand on my shoulder.

"Do you guys think I am a bad person?" I ask. "No, not at all." Olivia says softly. "You're not a bad person, you're my sister." Natasha says with a smile. I sigh softly "I also miss Pietro...I thought he was dead and now I find out he's alive. I never thought love could be like this." I say softly. "What did Hazel and Lillian show you guys? I don't want to make this all about me." I say.

"The Red Room, James and-" Natasha starts to cry. "The baby and getting sterilized." I hug her quietly. "What about you, Liv?" Olivia takes a deep breath "Howard, my childhood best friend, my baby I had with Howard and HYDRA." she says quietly and I put an arm on her.

"Well now I know who my two maidens of honor are going to be if I get married in the future." I say and Natasha raises an eyebrow "You're really going to break the rules of marriage so you can have both of us? Also what about Yelena?" I shrug and nod to answer the first question and for the second one I say "She can suck it up." with a smirk.
