A sailor's tale

It is a cloudy summer day. You could say a perfect day. It's not too hot or too cold.
It's a perfect day to relax.

But not for the living creature in the two mountains, Hare and Sarum. Inside of the 2 mountains is a village called Tenkai. The demis that live there are hiding from the Humans that grew hatred towards them. For 50 years, the Demis lived there.
The humans that tried to enter the village got lost in one of the thousands of tunnels.

The live there is always a bit chaotic. Everyone has a special task. Some demis have to get water from the nearby river.
Some others have to get supplies out of the forests like Berry's, wood, and even animals.
There is also a quarry nearby where the demis work.
Everybody has their place and task, almost everybody.

The kids are always playing together. Sometimes, they play catche or even hide and seek in the many tunnels.
But they are not allowed to leave the mountains.
But of course, not everybody is listening.

" Come on, Tarou were almost there."
The jung demi boy said.
He looked at his friend Tarou. Tarou is a goat demi. She has dark brown hair and brown eyes. She wears a yellow dress with some flowers stitched on it.
"I'm coming, but you know we are not supposed to go outside. My mom is going to ground us for a month if she finds out. Are you even listening to me? Quackity"
The boy she talked to didn't give an answer.
His name is Alex, but he likes the name Quackity more and that is the name everyone is calling him. He's a demi duck. The boy has beautiful golden wings on his back and a duck tail.
He wears a white blouse and a pair of black shorts. On his head, he wears a navy blue beanie.

"Come on, your mom isn't going to know that we are going outside. We are back before she noticed."
He smiled at the girl.
She said, " But we need to be back before the sun goes down."

The two friends walked about 20 minutes before Quackity starts to run as he sees that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Leaving Tarou behind him.
"We are here, Tarou." He said loud, then showed her a beautiful landscape. And even one of the human cities.
"Woah, it looks amazing, Quackity." She said with a big and bright smile on her face.
The boy looks really happy. He started to follow a small path down to the forest. Tarou followed him with hesitation.
"You're sure we are on the right path. Is this really the way to the ocean?"
She sounds a bit scared but excited when she asks that question. Quackity nodded and assured her that they were on the right path.
About half an hour later, they are close to the ocean. But also close to the human harbor. Quackity looked around and saw that there were many hunters on the way to a ship.
They must be hunting sirens. Quackity was so focused on what's happening on the harbor that he didn't pay any attention to his surroundings.

Then he felt something on his wings. Someone grabbed them. He tries to look at the person but fails. Then Quackity heard Tarou scream. Those people must be demi hunters.
He didn't know what to do...
A man spoke up, " Now look what we have here. Two little demi kids."
