Then he felt something on his wings. Someone grabbed them. He tries to look at the person but fails. Then Quackity heard Tarou scream. Those people must be demi hunters.
He didn't know what to do...
A man spoke up, " Now look what we have here. Two little demi kids."

Quackity couldn't free himself from the strange man's grasp.Just like Tarou, he was terribly afraid of what they would do to them.

Quackity couldn't move. He's too afraid.
The boy heard Tarou screaming and crying.
He regretted that they had left the village. He promised her that they would be back before anyone noticed.
Then more people came to them.
These people took both Quackity and Tarou to a building near the harbour.

The building loomed before them, its walls towering over Quackity and Tarou like a monolith. The demi hunters dragged Tarou and Quackity inside, their footsteps echoing off the cold stone floors.

Quackity's heart raced as he struggled to free himself, but the man's grip was like iron. He could see how scared Tarou was. It only made him more desperate to escape.

The hunters threw them both into a dimly lit cell, the door slamming shut behind them. Quackity stumbled forward, his wings flapping wildly as he tried to process what was happening.
Tarou clung to him, her tears seeping through his shirt. "Quackity, I'm so scared," she whispered, her voice shaking.

Quackity wrapped his arms around her, trying to give her what little comfort he could. "I'm here, Tarou. I won't let them hurt you," he promised, even though his own voice was shaking.

As they cuddled together, Quackity's mind raced with questions. 'What do they want to do to me and Tarou? And how can we escape?'

The sound of footsteps echoed on the outside of the cell and grew louder. Quackity's heart sank as the door creaked open, a figure stepped forward, its features illuminated by the faint light seeping through the cell light. Quackity's eyes widened as he took in the stranger's appearance.

The man was tall and lean, with piercing green eyes that seemed to bore into Quackity's soul. His hair was slicked back, revealing a sharp jawline.

"Welcome, little demi kids," the man said, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
Quackity's grip on Tarou tightened as he edged backward, trying to put as much distance between them and the hunter as possible. "W-what do you want?" he stuttered.

The man chuckled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Oh, I think you know. You two are quite the catch. Demi children are so rare and valuable."

Tarou whimpered, her face buried in Quackity's chest. Quackity's heart surged with anger and fear, his mind racing with ways to protect her.

"We won't let you take us," Quackity growled, trying to sound braver than he felt.

He raised an eyebrow. "Oh, but you're already in our custody. And soon, you'll be sold to the highest bidder."

Quackity's stomach twisted with horror. He knew they had to escape, but how? The demi hunters seemed to have them trapped appeared in the doorway.

Quackity's eyes locked onto the hunter, his determination growing. He knew they had to think fast if they wanted to escape.
Tarou's trembling slowed, and she looked up at Quackity with a hint of determination in her own eyes. "We can do this, Quackity," she whispered.
Quackity nodded, his mind racing. He remembered the skills that Tarous mom had taught him, the tricks and tactics that might help them outsmart their captors.

The man sneered, but Quackity could see a flicker of uncertainty in his eyes. The demi hunter didn't know what they were capable of, and Quackity was determined to use that to their advantage.

"Tarou, can you use your speed to distract them?" Quackity whispered, his eyes darting around the cell. Tarou is quite fast for a goat demi.

Tarou nodded and pricked up his ears. She ran away at lightning speed and scurried through the cell, causing the dust to be kicked up on the floor. Quackity moved the dust with his wings to the hunter. Blinding his view.
Quackity used the distraction to slip behind the man using his agility to evade the demi hunter's grasp. He cursed, his eyes scanning the cell for the two kids.
But they were already out of the cell.

Both kids are running as fast as they could.
Their footsteps are loud so that anyone in the corridor could hear them.
Luckily, nobody was in one of them.
Quackity tried to remember the way they got inside the building. His heart is beating fast, his breath shaking.
Tarou was next to Quackity. She is still so afraid. Afraid that the hunters will catch them again.

The two kids then found a door that's leading them to the outside. Then they heard a hunter screaming, " THE TWO DEMI KIDS ARE ESCAPING. FIND THEM NOW" it was the hunter they left in the cell.

They got outside. Only to notice that they don't know where they are.
"Oh no. What was the way home? " said Quackity with a panting voice. Tarou heard the hunters coming closer. "They are coming. We just need to find the mountains. Then we will run as fast as we can towards them."
Quackity nodded.

Both tried to avoid any way that was packed with people. Humans, to be specific.
But they can't avoid any human contact.
Tarou was looking behind her back and bumped into a jung woman. The woman nedded a second before she realised that Tarou had goat ears and small horns.
The expression on her face changed fast to a terrified look.
Tarou got up fast and kept running.

"The hunters are still behind us." Says Quackity panting. "We should split up. You go to the forest and I try to get them away from you." Suggested Quackity.
"WHAT! I won't leave you alone Quackity." Blurred Tarou out.
But she gave in quickly to the idea.
And so they ran into different directions.

Tarou ran in the forest.

And Quackity ran to the cliffs.
