Tessa Wilkes

After a long night of fitful sleep, Tessa stirred to see Sylvia's bed was still made, untouched. Tessa frowned, wondering where she'd slept that night. She slipped out of bed and changed, her mind replaying last night's conversation with Sebastian.

She wondered what idea he'd had, or what thought he'd come to before he'd kissed her and walked out of her room.

She also wondered what emotions she was feeling. She thought she'd be angry, but she felt.. scared. Nervous that she didn't know where he was or what his plan was. She was eager to get to classes to see him again, she found.

As she entered the common room, Andrew was there with Walter in what looked like a heated conversation. Andrew had his arms crossed over his chest and Walter was shaking his head tapping the side of one of his hands against his other palm, as if to emphasize whatever he was saying.

As Tessa neared, Walter glanced up and saw her, his hands sliding into his pockets, his usual grin coming to his face. "Morning, Tessa."

"Good morning," she greeted with a small smile. "What are you two up to?"

"Nothing." Walter said easily.

"Clayton wants to know why you were in the hospital wing for so long and if it had anything to do with your favorite Slytherin."

Walter shot a glare at Andrew, which was odd, seeing such an unfriendly look on his face. Even when he'd been confronting Sebastian, Walter's expression had been more aloof than anything.

She was also surprised that Walter was only just now asking about it. The incident felt like months ago, though it was only a little over a week.

"Ominis had nothing to do with it." Tessa said lightly and Andrew snorted.

"Oh, er, that's not who I was referring to." Walter said nervously.

"She knows. It was a joke." Andrew said.

"That was a funny one!" Amit said as he walked by the three of them. "I get it, because obviously he meant Sebastian."

"Thank you, Amit," Tessa smiled at him before turning back to Walter. "Sebastian has never physically harmed me, Walter. I promise. I appreciate you worrying for me, though."

"I would be worried about who did do it to you, once Sebastian finds out." Andrew murmured. "He's been more unbearable and protective over you since."

"So then, who did attack you?"

"How do you even know it was an attack?" Tessa asked, eyebrows drawing together as her head tilted. "Everyone knew I was in the hospital wing but not what for."

Walter's face paled slightly.

"Hm." Andrew hummed, raising an eyebrow as he looked at Walter. "That's a fantastic question."

"I need to get to Imelda, she's waiting for me, nice talking to you both," Walter said easily, turning and walking away from them. They both stared after him before Tessa sighed and looked to Andrew.

"Does that mean you were defending Sebastian as I walked up?" She asked.

"... Something like that," Andrew allowed, and Tessa just waited. "I was telling him that he'd never hurt you, despite the fact he's an arrogant prat" Andrew finally relented. "Happy?"
