No sooner had Luna had the previous dream (or nightmare, whatever that was), she was thrown right into another one.
This time, she caught a glimpse of a girl in a dark place, a cave maybe? Her hands were held up, like she was carrying something in her back.
When Luna's vision finally cleared, her heart plummeted.
It was Artemis, her legs bound with chains. Luna could even see the goddess bleeding in some areas.
Just above her, there was a huge, rolling mass of what looked like clouds in a gray sky. Several people stood in front of her talking about something but Luna couldn't hear a thing.
Suddenly, the dream floor beneath her broke and shattered like glass, dropping her down, down, down...

LUNA jerked awake from her sleep, her head still reeling from the dreams she had.
When she rolled over on her bed, she found Zoë pacing the floor of the Artemis cabin. Her face was creased with anger and worry.
"...Zoë?" Luna mumbled, rubbing her eyes. "Why are you up?"
"Oh, Luna..." Zoë started before cursing quite a bit. "I am terribly sorry to wake thee up, but..."
"But what?" Luna asked, suddenly wide awake at the worry in Zoë's voice. "Is it about Artemis? Did something happen?"
Zoë's eyes flashed in the dark. The next thing she said confirmed Luna's fears.
"Unfortunately so. I am afraid that Artemis is lost."

WHEN Luna staggered out of bed in the morning, she knew she definitely looked like a zombie.
Ugh. She was sooo not a morning person.
Luna could barely pay attention as Zoë broke the news to the cabin that Artemis is in trouble and her mind was still wandering when everyone headed to breakfast.
Afterward, she was about to head for the pegasus stable when Nico caught up to her.
"Luna! Luna! Everything is so cool here!" he exclaimed excitedly. "I was gonna go exploring! Come with me, pleaseee?"
