"Quick Kaeith!" I shouted. "Quickly get on the Kritoplane!".

I quickly got on Kaeith's Kritoplane but I have no idea how to operate the massive machine. Kaeith's Kritoplane is a black beauty. A pity that I can't appreciate it further as Kaeith leap into the front seat.

"Seat belt, Tessa!" He shouted among the commotion. I look down and pull the white strap across my waist. As both of us were secured, the machine start up at Kaeith's thumbprint and a protective overhead roof slid close, blocking the noise outside.

I had the illusion of being safe.

"Place your thumbprint on the sensor pad at the side." He spoke on his headset to me. Immediately I did what he said.

"Tessa," Kaeith's voice became soft, "I hope that we get out of this safely." He paused. I held my breath. "If we don't..."

"Kaeith! No! I'm sure that we will be fine." I cut his negative speech, though I myself am unsure of it, we cannot just give up like this. Kaeith turn towards me, we were separate by a thin piece of glass, He place his palm on the glass and I did the same in response. Kaeith smiled sadly and whisper through the microphone, "if we do not get out of this safely or if we get separated, I just want to say..."

"Can't we compromise?" I asked Cain."No." He rumbled. "We have been at logger heads for far too long to repair our relationship." he explained.

"But can't we settle our indifferences and assist each other in the upcoming catastrophe?" I pleaded.

"No!" He roared this time and I flinched backwards. "Our last battle with The Light, they have broken off and injured many of my people's wings." He paused. "If they allow us to break their wings to make up for what they did, I might consider compromising." He sneered cruelly.

"You can't do that Cain!" I exclaimed in horror and shivered as horrifying images of gruesome broken wings and blood, flooded into my mind. "Lord Cain, you shall call me." He barked, breaking my thoughts. "Then we have no rooms for compromising." He started to turn away from me. In desperation, I did the inevitable.

I summoned my wings.

"Cain! Look at me!" He stopped and turned. His eyes widened , "The prophecy." He grab his Black Sabre with a menacing glint in his eyes and crept forward, a terrifying smile stretched across his face.

"I have to kill you."
