Chapter Six

The scenery we stepped into was unbelievable. We were suddenly on a wide spread of grassland and soft natural breeze were softly caressing my face.
All words fled my mouth and all I could do was look at kaeith and gape with disbelief. I looked behind us and saw that the door was the door of a beautiful homely cottage. I was throughly shocked.
Before I could overcome my shock, Kaeith spoke,"Don't ask. You will know about it sooner or later."."But..but.."I stuttered still not recovered from the initial shock . "Aren't we suppose to be at your living room or something..?"
Kaeith shook his head and gave a mysterious smile. I was about to ask some more questions when Kaeith place a finger on my lips and whispered,"Don't ask. Just feel." I kept quiet and did as was told.
I closed my eyes and felt with all my other senses. I felt the cool breeze brushing my bared skin and shivered , I heard the rustling of wheat fields against the breeze, I smell the grass, wildflowers and a slightly addictive aroma but mostly I just felt Kaeith's large and warm hand enveloping my own much smaller one .
To distract myself from Kaeith's touch, I asked, "I hear the rustling of wheat crops against the breeze. Is there a wheat field around here?"Kaeith gave an amused chuckle , "Wow you are sharp. Just by hearing, you could guess it is a wheat field?" He gave a appreciative nod.
"Yes there is one. Would you like to go there?". I noded my head enthusiastically.Kaeith snapped his fingers and suddenly a giant disc appeared. I looked suspiciously at that circular plate.
"This is a mode of transport in Kelta called Krain." He opened what seems like an invisible door and stepped in. He held out his left hand to me and I automatically grabbed his hand and stepped onto the thing.
I closed my eyes and felt arms securing my waist like a seat belt . I prayed and hoped that I wouldn't fall and break my neck or something.
"You can open your eyes now." Kaeith whispered close to me. I felt my tiny neck hairs stood on it's end and a shiver went down my spine. Suddenly I was cold again, Kaeith's warm presence was gone, his arms no longer around me.
Disappointed, I opened my eyes and saw...wow I am in the middle of a wheat field. I walked towards it, only to be knocked back by an invisible force."Ow. That hurts." I said, rubbing a sore spot on my forehead.
"Of course it hurts. You did not open the door." Kaeith said in a mock-tease tone.Kaeith started to reach towards the grey handle. 'So that's the door handle.' I thought.

I look up in shock. 'Natsuo?' I thought again.

(Yes. That's my name and you better remember it)
I was excited. 'OMG. Where are you?'

(Behind Kaeith)
Immediately I look behind Kaeith and true enough, Natsuo is behind him, licking one of it's paw.

(You took long enough to notice me Tessa)
'Whatever.' I said mentally to Natsuo.
"Tessa?"
"Er. Yeah?"
"What are you looking at?"I look at Natsuo in confusion, 'can't he see you?'

(No. I didn't allow him to see me. After all I could be disturbing both of you)
Natsuo had chuckled in my mind. I thought, 'Don't be the matchmaker Natsuo. ' He chuckled again. I grinned and said, "Nothing Kaeith." and smiled, "Let's go."
Stepping out of the Krain, I almost fell onto the floor face flat, if not for Kaeith's quick reflex as he quickly grabbed my arm and pulled me against him.
"Thanks," I murmured, feeling a little dizzy. "How are you feeling?" Kaeith asked in concern.
"Dizzy." I murmured."This is how all first timers felt." Kaeith said. He bend down, hook my legs in his arm, support my back with his other arm and carried me in princess style.I gasped in surprise and blushed. I could feel his chest vibrating as he said, "I shall carry you so you will not fall."
I look up to his face and the sun was shinning brightly above him that I had to squint my eyes to look at him. His hair was truly the colour of the sun.I look away when Kaeith suddenly look down to me, he said,"Look at the field. This is what we came for."
So he noticed me staring at him. I blushed and look at the field.As he walked, he murmured, "Wow, you're so light.". As he said that, he held me even closer and I could hear his heartbeat against my ear.
It was a soothing sound and for a strange reason it sounded familiar too. Kaeith came to a stop and he place me gently down under the big oak tree. I leaned against the tree and Kaeith sat down beside me. I smiled to him.
Taking in every detail of the field, I had the scene permanently stored in my mind. Even the tiniest detail of having Kaeith beside me and the wonderful feeling that I was having. I smiled blissfully and closed my eyes. This is just perfect for me.I fell asleep gradually, taking along the scent of the wildflowers and the comforting presence of the Kaeith.

I smiled as Tessa fell asleep. Today had been a tiring and mind blogging day for her. It's a good chance for her to rest before the evening ball. I leaned back to the 100 year old oak tree and said to the tree," Hello old friend. How are you doing?".
The oak tree seemed to reply me with it's rustling of it's leaves. I grinned.This place is what I call my own heaven. The escape from tiring reality. Never once had I brought a woman to my safe haven.
A woman.
I chuckled at that thought. Who would have thought that I would lay my eyes on her since the moment she fell in front of me.But I'm glad I did. It feels as though she was an important person to me. Was and still is. I have no idea in what way is she so important to me.
This conclusion that I reached was not just based on feelings alone, it is also based on what my heart felt.
