Age 764, King Kai's Planet

In the years since Frieza's defeat on Namek, King Kai had seen many things. Usually, his day only consisted of watching his TV and driving his beautiful car across his tiny planet. But in these last few years of his life, things in his sector of the universe had gotten a lot more active.

There was that good Saiyan, Goku, for one thing. At first, he thought the Saiyan was dead, blown up with Namek, but nope. He lives! Where he ended up was pretty lucky, too. But good things didn't seem to last, as King Cold, Frieza's father, was out for blood. He'd somehow gotten recordings of his favorite son's last endeavors, learning of Earth and seeking vengeance upon it for Frieza's death.

He had no idea that it wasn't Goku who killed his horrendous kid.

No, it was someone far worse, probably. Most likely. He'd watched Chu's fight with Frieza from beginning to end. Now, don't get him wrong, for the first half of that battle he thoroughly enjoyed Frieza's beatdown. Chu was innovative, fierce, and a total riot on the battlefield.

Like, who would think of using Frieza, The Frieza, as a paddle ball game? Genius levels of embarrassment were served to the Tyrant on a purple platter. King Kai grabbed popcorn and soda, sat on his favorite coach, and tuned in.

She was dancing circles around the icejin. She literally ate all of his attacks. She played every game he'd ever seen with this man, basketball, soccer, heck, even baseball. In every game, Frieza was the ball. He could see the lizard's pale scales turning red from here, and he was way far!

Premium entertainment, folks. King Kai was invested.

But as the fight progressed, The North Kai realized the growing brutality. Chu was a monster disguised as a cute toddler. He'd seen how brutal she could be from the fodder she'd taken care of before. Frieza was just a plaything for the angry child.

Chu proceeded to break Frieza's pride, his bones, heck, even his mind as she kept finding ways to torment him. This fight was nothing more than torture at that point. Unlike Goku, she had no intention to spare him, all because he'd ruined what she claimed as hers.

After realizing her toy was broken, she blew up the planet then and there, point blank. King Kai thought she'd killed herself!

But no, just minutes after the rubble settled in space, all her tiny pieces reformed. It was a feat he'd never seen before. He didn't know whether to be relieved or apprehensive. Frankly, he wasn't sure if his part of the universe could handle such an existence.

Wanting to know what she'd do, he continued to watch.

She proceeded to decimate the Frieza empire. If it had anything Frieza-related, boom, it was gone. He was afraid another terror was on the rise. But the more he watched, the more confused he became.

It wasn't a reckless rampage as he initially thought. No, she removed the bad eggs and relocated the rare good ones, and even the planet's original inhabitants, to a new planet they could survive on. Whether she did this intentionally or not was left for debate, but she saved them.

Chu... wasn't as horrible as he thought? But there was still this unanswered feeling of dread. Too curious to know what it was, he kept watching. The more energy she absorbed from the bad guys she killed, the darker she became. When she was given energy from those she rescued, her pigment lightened.

Her temperament almost directly correlated with what she 'ate'. And she was eating a lot of bad on her way to Earth. King Kai didn't know how to feel about that revelation.

But there was a bright side. The namekian kid, Kyuri. He kept her in line, or at least in a morally gray area. He kept her from going feral with their daily communication, which King Kai knew about since Chu was very vocal about it.
