The sunset was calming as you sat upon the hill, the light wind on your skin along with the warm sun beaming on you. Looking beside you Vanessa was holding out an ice cream. You gently took it, watching as she sat down.

"So I know how I've been these past few days and I just want to say sorry. I know what I did was not ok." She said.

You smiled nudging her shoulder. "Hey, it's alright. It's in the past now."

You don't feel right.

Vanessa smiled, ruffling your hair like you were some child. "Thanks, at least I know what to do next time."

You felt the scenery shift, breaking apart and healing itself. You were in your room, lying on your bed. Is this what was happening last? Huh, you suppose it is.

Something is wrong.

You sat up, hearing your notifications go off. You checked your phone, getting one message with one word from an unknown number.

Stagger.

That's all it said, nothing else. You sighed, placing your phone on your bed as you got up to go get something to eat.

As soon as you get up you're in a strange room. A single broken down arcade machine standing right in front of you. The room looked abandoned, cluttered with unused plushies, pillows and blankets. The arcade machine said 'Balloon world' with a strange boy on the side of it.

A ghostly hand ripped itself from the screen, forcing the world into a large pixelated mess. You couldn't move, your body forcing you to watch as another hand ripped itself out. Then another, and another, followed by a strange face, covered in black and purple glitches which rendered it impossible to figure out the facial features.

You felt the urge to touch it, reaching your hand up to it only to feel it crawling into your chest, moving your organs around to make room for itself. The feeling was agonizing, making you lightheaded and yet you still could not move.

You felt its voice reverberating in your head as it spoke one sentence.

"Come find me, won't you?"

You exhaled as you opened your eyes, the sounds of metal hitting against metal and sparking static must have woken you up. You looked around, seeing Moon tinkering with a disassembled S.T.A.F.F bot.

You push yourself onto your arms yelping in pain as your right arm began to sting. You lifted it and looked it over, finding three large slashes or scratch marks going across your forearm.

"Leave."

You looked at Moon, seeing the animatronic staring at you, his eyes piercing into yours.

"Moon I can't leave, It-"

Moon pointed to your phone a few feet away from you. "Leave," he repeated.

You groaned and picked up your phone, pocketing it.

"Don't suppose you know anything about this?" You pulled your arm up to show him the scratches, covered in dried blood and bits of dirt. It looked like it had specks of blue around the open wound and your starting to think it's Moon's paint.

Moon's gaze lingered on it, his hat jingling as he twisted his head in a full circle. A minute passed before he turned back to mess with the S.T.A.F.F bot again, not bothering to respond to you.

You sighed and put your arm down. "You at least know where any bandages are?"

The silence that came after made you sigh. Of course he won't respond. You picked yourself off the ground, brushing off some imaginary dirt before walking over to the lunar animatronic.

Moon stood up as soon as you got within arms reach and walked over to the balcony. You huffed as he walked right past you.

"Moon what happened."

As expected you got zero response. Once he reached the balcony he pointed to the entrance to the daycare.

"Leave."

"Moon-"

He growled, the hand by his side tightening into a fist. You don't know why he's acting like this, all upset and demanding.

"Moon wh-"

"Leave!" He snapped angrily walking over to you.

"Hey hey hey!" You backed up, your back hitting the wall.

He forcefully grabbed your injured arm, making you yell out in pain. "Ow ow! Moon stop, that hurts!"

He only yanked you towards the balcony, making your arm feel like it was burning and being ripped apart all at once. You recall when you first met Moon, the controlled shocks.

You wished Vanessa had messaged you the voice command. Wait... Message. your dream had a word in a message. Stagger. You don't know if it's the right word or not but better to try than see if Moon throws you off the balcony.

"Stagger!" You yell.

Moon immediately let go, letting out a staticky scream as he collapsed to the ground, flickering lights and flying sparks ripping themselves from his body.

A few agonizingly long seconds pass of him screaming and writhing on the ground as he clutched his head. You didn't want to do it, you KNOW you shouldn't have done it.

You looked down at your arm, finding another pair of claw marks on it. So that's what that burning feeling was...

The screaming stopped, along with the flashing of electricity and sparks. You took a single step closer, scratching your hand a bit.

"...Moon?" You were hesitant to speak, unsure whether he was angry with you or not.

He shifted a bit before going back to being still, making you slightly worried that you may have damaged him.

"Moon?" You repeated. "Are you ok?"

You stepped around him, hoping to see his face. He snapped his to face you, making you jolt.

"I warned you to leave. The darkening will come to consume you." He said before a loud buzzer rang and he powered off.

Oh geez what are you getting yourself into...
